I find it funny how Mickey Mouse and co. are a force of nature in Europe yet in the US they've mostly been vaulted barring the online shorts

the cartoon aired in my country and i remember watching it as a kid

Lat, but that's because it's mainly Malaysian /pol/ comics, and we know how Yea Forums feels about any political comics that aren't explicit superheroes being mouthpieces.

Based buraz

The new Polly Pocket cartoon is better known in the UK than the US because it isn't airing on TV in the US yet.

Jetsons are huge yet I don’t know if I remember a single thread about it

This gets barely any threads apart from when there's a new episode, the occasional Ianon shitpost or some horny bugger gushing over Squawk and her massive bum.

Pretty gud stuff that Footrot Flats. Got a book with loads of strips in it.

Is the movie good?

Based

Oh shit childhood flashback
didn't the dog love sheep carcasses?

Yep, found some strips online. Goddamn I can't stop grinning. I'd forgotten all about it. Thank you so much for bringing it back to my attention.

You must be new.

>Squawk and her massive bum.
Pics for reference?

Mortadelo y Filemón. Most of you have probably never even heard of them.

We even made a movie.

Attached: TopCatsGangofCats.jpg (396x283, 18K)

I know of this. In my country the series/main character is called to Ahmed Ahne (Ahmed the Creedy)

I'll throw her mum in as a bonus.

Who doesn't know Clever and Smart

>amazon wants around $900 for a single book
>nothing on libgen
help

Mortadelo y filemon, secret agents of a spanish parody of the CIA.
I think in english they were called Mort and Phil.
Even after 60 years they still strong and well known even by little children in spain, though they have devolved into a shadow of the funny comics from the late 80s and early 90s.

Attached: personajes.png (1004x1033, 885K)

Is it still Ibanez drawing them? I think they're fairly popular in German countries too (known as Clever and Smart)

>Literally Barcenas
Lmao

They are pretty well known in the netherlands as well

>because it isn't created in the US.
ftfy

Ibáñez probably still writes them, but his assistants are the ones that draw it. There's no way an old man like him could draw so many pages a year.

>left the original publishing newspaper after 25 years because of an anti-LGBT strip
>after five years as a webcomic published by a controversial online-only paper, finally found a new home at another broadsheet
>there was all of these are produced in a country that only a few of their local comic book franchises are big, though as live-action adaptations, and the average citizen knows only a handful of their own animated shows/movies

Attached: bcv.jpg (1016x185, 85K)

Oh shit I know that thing

Absolutely based. The only Goscinny written french strip which didn't fall from grace after his death.

There's a set of pdfs somewhere out there (volumes 1-27), and those files have also been converted into a set of cbr files that are tagged with "(CBRed by Search-DCP)". The pdfs are better image quality, but the pages are sideways and you have to manually rotate the files.
I've got both sets, but I don't remember where I got them from. I think it might've been some torrent.

Ah yes, i remember loving the cartoon and that one comic/release where they go to the olympics. It did get a 3d movie recently but i never heard anyone talk much about it.

>I think in english they were called Mort and Phil.
Weren't they called clever and smart in english or was that just in the UK release?

Can you put them on a mega or something? Would love to read all of it.

Sure. I don't have a Mega but I can post it elsewhere.
Look at pic related for the link. The URL triggers Yea Forums's spam detection system, so I can't simply post the link as text.
Those are the pdf versions. The file is set to expire in less than a day, so download it as soon as you can.

Jose Luis Moro was a based boi

Attached: joseluismoro-comic-b.jpg (910x1202, 325K)

Only because it fell from grace before his death. The last couple of volumes weren't very good

actually just googled to fact check myself, and nevermind. It was indeed after his death that they became kind of shittty. Glad to know Goscinny remains based as fuck at least

I got a buddy who moved out to New Zealand and they way he describes the South Island is comfy as fuck.
Expect me if shit gets to real here.

The monkey thing had a Disney channel show for a bit.

Every time that dog is on heat, her owner locks her up into a little shack he calls "bitch's box", so that male dogs can't reach her and mate with her.
Most of the time the dogs are too resourceful, though. Despite the owner's efforts, there have been tons of litters of puppies.

I loved this series

Iznogud really is just that, it's not good. I never understood how anyone can enjoy that trite. Same with Boule et Bill and Cédric.

Silly Me, I forget this one

IN THE HEART OF TRANSYLVANIA
I loved my time in Scotland

Steven Universe is huge here but yet gets no Yea Forums threads

you don't have a sense of humor or what?

My grandfather has all the Olli B. Bommel books, no joke
Shit bro, I read those comics in the library and in the Robbedoes magazine I got at me grannies
I bought like 4 of those for 5 bucks in Utrecht a couple years ago, I really liked those comics in general
Hella based brother, dry-ass dirkjan humour and the flemish SnS, I have around 100 comics of the latter.

An addition from my own interest would be this dude, Harry, Haagse Harry, who's comics portray real hagueish life. Heinz de Kat by René Windig my art teacher's brother and Eddie de Jong, which even got a movie. Most stuff from Depuis was hella good now I think about it.

Everything was good enough, then after Final Evolution everything turned into shit.

mind giving us more info about this?

Spirou isn't huge anymore, they've had sales problems for the last 20 years, to the point where the main series is now officially on ice while they're trying a superhero-style reimagining.

Thank you kindly

EL CONDE PATULA.

More than one.

>because of an anti-LGBT strip

Post it.

Marsupilami was the shit.

Got it, thanks again.

Superlopez. Why DC hasn't sued it? I don't know.
