I just assume this was because Mickey's almost always been the face of the company and attributing actual implications of him doing anything besides maybe get a smooch with Minnie is a no go. Audible gasped when the mascot took off his head and revealed Phantom fucking Blot. With that and Bombie the Zombie, we are finally getting some comic stuff. I do wonder if FOWL has room for two dog-noses primarily associated with wearing black, revealing clothing. I'm still holding out for the inclusion of the Black Knight and making the Black Knight a member of FOWL would be very fitting.

I also wouldn't mind the show combining Don Rosa's original vision where the Black Knight WAS Phantom Blot.
