A character from the SNK fighting game serieses. There’s no point naming which one or even differentiating them because they’re all so interconnected anyways. They’re not as popular as street fighter or Mortal Kombat, at least i don’t think so, I wasn’t even aware that SNK did anything else besides Metal Slug until a few years ago. I’m sure that 99% of the reason that is is because their bosses are utter, unfun bullshit.

Then you should avoid KOF96 like the plague. Chizuru and Goenitz are the worst case of SNK boss syndrome, especially the latter. And Rugal in 94 and 95 is even worse than his 2k2 version.

When the taste are right, they're right.

Only on a technical level. They just corrected frame rate issues, few power up switches, made it more co-op friendly with multiple vehicles to choose from, and other minor fixes.

That said, there is 0 reason to ever play 2 over X.
