I assume it's more of a budgetary thing and that it's doing much better in digital and trades than floppies (which it is by the way, check the charts whenever you can).
It's curious that this lives yet Champions doesn't, but perhaps they expected the book to perform at Avengers level.

As a "foodie", I'm always curious about those things first, and frankly I've never had the chance to try African food, so Wakandan food would be sort of a delicacy among them given their seclusion.

Champions is probably getting relaunched. They still are pushing them in the big impact event and covers. Considering how they let this run a lowers sales and seemingly let Magnificent ms Marvel run at lowers sales, they could have kept it on if they wanted too.

Isn't there a contriviance plot of how only the Blood related can summon the powers of the well?

The consensus is that it sucks, just like Champions, which is why nobody buys them.
These are just the filler books nuMarvel is flooding the market with, instead of focusing on releasing better stories.
