Where were you all on 9/11? Do you remember anything on that day?

I was getting ready for school.

I was waiting around the house for the tv repairman to arrive. I get a panicked phonecall from my gran that planes are falling out of the sky and shit.
Crazy times.

I was in 1st grade. I don't remember anything about that day, though my parents have told me that they didn't want me seeing anything about the events of that day, since I was 6 at that time.

What did the original scene show?

I was 11 and at school and everyone saw it at lunch at home

This

Jesus Christ.

I was 11 and at home eating breakfast when my mom ran in the dining room screaming about a terrorist attack on the world trade center. My first thought was, "What's a world trade center?" but I figured out it was in New York when I saw the Statue of Liberty in the camera shots on the news. I didn't really feel anything toward it, and I still don't, since I never knew anyone who was anywhere near New York or who lived in New York or anything around that time. I had zero connection to the events unfolding onscreen, it may as well have been a movie.

what happens when a fairy godparent shows true love for their godchild and/or vice versa

I went into this thread hoping to find this response, and it is fpbp, I love you Yea Forums.

I was in English class and no one knew wtf was going on at first. When we tried to look up a news website on the teacher's computer, we didn't know she had the "travel" theme installed and thought the terrorists were hacking the website to make the cursor into an airplane

I don't get it...

Attached: 7pg1dl9vytyz.jpg (1280x738, 38K)

Holy shit are you me? Made even worse that my dad is European and told my mom, "Honey it won't our lives." It really hasn't because none of our relatives have ever served beyond my grandpa in WWII.

Stay ignorant. Ignorance IS bliss in this case.

I was 5 and saw it on the news. I didn't really know what I witnessed until a few years later.

I'm confused.

Oh man I shouldn't laugh but that's really funny.

I was two months old at the time so no

I was home eating dorito when phone was ring

youtube.com/watch?v=nOkjRmHCGmU

I was going to my community college art class, and we were listening to it on the radio, but I didn't realize how bad things were until I went home and saw it on TV.

I stopped at the mall on my way home to get some food (workers at the mall had the radio on as well) and got jumped by some reporters doing a man on the street thing, so I ended up on the evening news giving my insipid analysis of the situation.

"9/11 is kill"

I was 2 years old

"no"

I was taking a standardized test in middle school. Apparently the TV was on in some classes that had finished their tests when it happened so word started going around the school in whispers, but teachers were under strict orders to not tell students that didn't already know, lest it interfere with our test scores, so other than noticing a few students acting weird during lunch I didn't hear anything until my sitter picked me up after school. She told me as soon as I got in the car.

On a mildly related note, the US education system is fucked up. They also didn't tell us about a bomb threat when I was in high school, instead telling us it was a fire drill to keep us from panicking. This proved fucking pointless though because we weren't fucking dipshits and all recognized that the procedure we were following was wrong for a fire drill. They moved us into a separate building instead of just outside the building we were in, and by that point most of us were guessing bomb threat, which proved correct. Hilariously, the caller actually fucked up the area code, and the fortunately fake threat was meant for a government building 2 states over.

He CAUSED 9/11
>"Geez I wish I didn't have to go to school today"

I was visiting Disney World for the first time. Lines were super short since it was fall, so overall a good trip until that happened. Had to drive all the way back since the airports were closed, which amounted to 12 hours. Not fun for 6-year-old me.

At this point, it's just my civics teacher wheeling in one of the media carts so we could see shit explode, and coming home later to find Nickelodeon wasn't airing Spongebob.

>On a mildly related note, the US education system is fucked up.
Agreed.
pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2017/02/15/u-s-students-internationally-math-science/

Think about it. At this very moment, people that weren't even alive during 9/11 can now officially post on Yea Forums(nel).

Why yes, how could I forget running all the way down to the patent office!

I changed my mind, I don't want to know.

Fifth grade science. Teacher wheeled in a TV and we got to watch. She was in tears.

I don't remember much about the day of the accident, but I remember it being on the news afterwards a lot. I don't think my parents turned off the television. I just remember seeing lots of shots of grey ash falling everywhere and people talking about the attack. Also my uncle worked in downtown Manhattan so he became ill with "World Trade Center lung" (I think that's what they called it) from all the dust.

A little over 2 years old at that point, I don't remember shit
Also Mexican, so probably wouldn't have heard even if I was older at the time

Fpbp

But it was a muffin wish. I was just saying your names so you would be aware of who changed everything.

Family Guy tried this. Unfortunately it doesn’t work out.

>*PLANE NOISES*
Lost my shit, that's too good.

Are you a Jew?

also the Whitest Kids 'U Know

I was in junior high, that day i was about to play my nintendo 64 when my dad told me something really fucked up happened in the US, that day he and my uncles talked about what could actually happen later, fortunately i didn't affect us that much, i live in one of the most backwater parts of Mexico and most of the people which i knew at the time never traveled overseas, later by the poverty and insecurity everyone went to the US to work, that's when i heard of how much the security and the ambient changed, later was the TV and paranoia displayed there.
Much later i read on the road and was yearning for the old times that only i could imagine.

I forgot

Can't do that, sport. Our slave driving master, Putsch Fartman, is actually Jewish! He's gonna cut you from the show now and replace you with Chloe in his new hit show, "That's Chloe!!!"

are you a fool?

Do you have a link to this? The only thing I remember is them doing an interview talking about 9/11.

Someone explain me

Dick Cheney loves money too much to prevent 9/11

Yea Forums didn't exist yet. I remember nothing of that time.

"We've gotta go back in time to save 9/11!"

I was 9 at the time. I didn't fully grasp what on earth was going on, but I remember my mom and all the adults being incredibly tense and confused. I also remember seeing the buildings after the second plane hit on the news.

I was watching a show called "Melevisione", I was pretty young.
I was pissed while my mom was a mixture of shocked and amused since I was being all puffy and upset over my show being interrupted.

I got out of school early and watched Nickelodeon. 9-11 didnt interfere with their programming, except Slime Time Live was cancelled that day and the rest of the week, and they made some very last minute schedule changes to accommodate for the blocks in between show segments being gone.

I was in school and I could see the smoke from my classroom. No one explained what it was at the time, I was 7.

are you a cocksucking nigger who is related to wwii victims if yes get in the oven

I was a toddler so I don't remembered anything that happened that day

cumbrain

This isn't the camp woodsy thread

The 11th of September is permanently removed from all calendars and human memory. there are now only 364 days in a year and time progresses September 10th, then September 12th.

6th grade english class

I was in computer science class, 5th floor, facing lower manhattan from brooklyn. the windows were open and our teacher was lecturing in front of them, we had a perfect view until the first tower fell and the horizon was completely blotted out by the dust cloud. all classes were cancelled, and the school was locked down, they had a tv with the news on in the auditorium, the only people there were the ones that couldn't get a response from family. my mother and uncle walked out of work and back home after their office windows shattered, my friend was working security at the WTC, he died.

i remember seeing what i thought was a huge flock of birds flying from manhattan into brooklyn, when they got close they started falling out of the sky, they were charred office memos.

I remember being in middle school having an ok day. Then, I found out about it during geography I think and felt kinda crummy and wish I didn't knew about it. I definitely remember some angst, I was 11.

I was drawing comics in study hall since I didn't have any homework.

Nice to see that you're on Yea Forums as well as /pol/, Trevor Moore.

Third grade, during Math, right after Lunch.
A few of the teachers were gathered at the doorway, a little freaked out, trying to keep their voices hushed and even.
Then she turned on the tv and we watched the towers burning and falling, but after that it's all blank.

>The only WKUK member people know is Trevor, rarely also Zach
This is why I stay in Montana.

FUCK

I was eight years old in my Grandma house being babysitted, every body was "OMG did you see what just happen? oh shit here comes another plane", i was piss off because they didn't show Dragon Ball Z just to show some towers that literally nobody in my country gave a shit until that moment, you could argue about the human causalities though.

read it in his voice

I was 8 at that time. I remember seeing it on TV and thinking that it was cool, because a war was probably going to happen.

Incidentally, this is also why Timmy can’t wish for FC Bayern to win the cup.

I was walking through blood and bones trying to find my brother
He was in Northern Canada

Finished watching Channel 1. A news program they played in school for 15 mins every morning.

After which, coach turned back on the TV set during class to show everyone what was happening.

Winner winner Chikken dinner

>You don’t want a visit from Jorgen von Strangle, the toughest fairy in the universe!

I don't remember anything in particular about that day.

The magic of what?
Nah.

I was at the dentist with the news on.
In DC. The dentist was facing away from the TV and it was muted and I saw the whole broadcast, I couldn't move at all because he was filling in a cavity. It was truly terrifying.

Can someone edit those chalks into cigarettes?

Or edit that ear into a less cringe spot.

Only Captain Nazi has the power to retroactively make people Nazis

I was partying. In Pakistan. Smoking hash and shit. There was a momentary pause when I heard a bunch of Americans died. Then I continued partying because the weed was so good.

Does that mean there is a captain jew?

Unclear, but there is a Captain Israel

>freshman in high school, taking Pre-Algebra because I suck at math
>principal announces that the WTC is under attack
>gym teacher who taught the class made us finish the quiz
>see the footage next period in history class

All told, I just wanted to watch my afternoon cartoons.

I was sleeping on the couch after work. Woke up right before the second plane and thought that this movie was interesting.

They would tried it a third time, user.

How do you figure

Very well. Now all sex is rape, statutory or otherwise.

Someone edit those chalks into ears

Butch

I was 6, and had like for aunt's in NYC at the time and my mom was absolutely shook trying to call their hotel.

Not actually my memory, since I too young, but apparently my mom was stuck outside the house without a key, tried climbing up to roof on a ladder, but had to keep coming down because I kept trying to follow her up there
