Oh, but soon all the forces will collapse into the Speed Force and then Barry will be the MOST! POWERFUL! FLASH! EVER!
Because the fuckwits who write this garbage think that's the same as being a good character.
And then he'll give them up "forever" only for them to just show up when he needs them, ultimately robbing this comic of anything approaching dramatic tension.
But gosh darn it, Barry will be more powerful than Wally, and that's what good character is all about, right?

How are you all enjoying the Flash run? I gave up around issue 20, and I swear a year has just gone by outta nowhere

I was gonna start picking it up at the start of year one but when the first issue ended with time travel bullshit I decided against it

I like flash, I’ve always been a marvel guy but I want to diversify into dc a bit, i e picked up jimmy Olsen’s maxi and I just bought dial h number one, but I don’t just want to slide into Batman or Superman (though if Tomasai was still on Superman with a young Jon I’d be getting it)

Birthright reference! Also, catching up with Birthright has just made me painfully aware how Williamson handles story progression when he runs out of ideas. Badly. Shounen-esque power escalation, characters relearning lessons that should've stuck already... The Flash has been a turn-your-brain-off, non-offensive book for a long while now and I don't expect it to change until the eventual finale.
