Did you start learning music aspiring to play grocery store muzak? Or is that just where you ended up after you realized you weren't talented or creative enough to do anything else?
Thanks. Not a lot of guys do it well, but it was a really natural thing for me since my right hand is a lazy fuck. You can imagine how I felt listening to frank gambale for the first time. My time was shit, but whatever.
Ian Johnson
>Not a lot of guys do it well, but it was a really natural thing for me I'd advise you to name your band Dunning Kruger but that might be a little too 'on the nose' as they say.
Ryder Brown
Can you explain sweeps to me? They're the only thing left that I'm not particularly good at
Charles Martin
lmao classic n/gg/mi post
David White
It's been like 16 hours man
Dominic Jones
lmfao now you can count? just not with a metronome amirite
Got back into guitar after finding a cheapo epiphone with a glued headstock & actually trying to understand how to play guitar instead of only doing power chords, but wow relearning proper picking technique SUCKS Am I best off binging guitar technique and music theory clickbait videos for now?
i know this is bait but ill help anyways do alternate picked spiders, up and down the fretboard 3-5-7-8 with a metronome until you can do it relatively fluently, then move on to other patterns.
real ngmi advice, this shit doesn't help whatsoever. it's just a way for incels to kill time in their no-sex prison they never leave.
just give it up and stop playing. you either have it or you don't. you'll never 'make it' by trying hard, 'making it' is just something you're born with. you don't even like guitar is just some stepping stone in an unending string of 'if i do this, then:' goals you have that eventually leads to you making it, but it's just a karmic hamster wheel for people without souls, like you.
David Ross
What's up with you? I assume you're the same schizoid posting this shit in whatever passes for synth threads, too. Look at the hours you put in, you do this shit for free?
Easy choice. They’re both ngmi but one lives in a favela. I’ll take my current circumstances and remain an affluent ngmi.
Colton Thompson
ngl most encouraging thing i've heard thanks
Michael Powell
yeah if you can hear the music in your head, stop practicing, stop "playing", start PERFORMING. this is what everyone who was *ever* good at guitar did. just reproduce the music in your head. and if there isnt any music in there, fucking kill yourself. "practicing" is a slave morality self defeating misconception about how if you sacrifice enough you'll one day "deserve" to be good. nah. its fucking genetic. practice has ruined more musicians who could have been good than drugs have. slavery is NEVER the road to mastery. take the whip, or get back in the faggot fields where you were BORN to belong to, slave.
>gibson buying an amp brand that was relevant 20 years ago and hasn't released a compelling product in a decade somehow isn't evidence that the brand was weak top retard hours in here
Austin Johnson
guitar amplifiers are not compelling products any more. theyre a relic of boomer retardation.everyone just goes di and uses real amplifiers and real speakers that dont "sound ljke shit on purpose".
Jaxon Allen
mesa boogie hasn't made a successful amp (no, the mark series doesn't count as they lose money on each one) since the dual rectifier
This post is peppered with bitterness, so I can't help but think it's supposed to be another troll attempt. It actually has some genuine truth to it, though.
