why would someone rip off the zeppelin IV cover like that
should I get a klon clone, a jhs morning glory or the bonsai? And what's a good reverb pedal? I don't need the astral spacey stuff I'm just looking for something to saturate my gain toan
I did it reddit, this baby got a new home, thanks for the feedback earlier. Some things I found out (tl;dr):
>Squier Strat Affinity HSS Overwhelmingly cheap chinkshit feeling from the moment I picked it up. The 5-way switch gives an amazing variety of tones though, disregarding all the issues. I know my next piece will be a real Strat. >LTD EC-256 HH (split coils) She's the one. It felt and sounded just right for what I was looking for. Solid build, nothing squeaky or plastic feeling, except for pot knobs maybe. Spilt coils are NOT replacement for real single coils (even compared to the Squier above), but they're the second best thing and let me achieve what I wanted. Sounds great on full humbuckers. I was very critical and nitpicky to make sure I wasn't falling victim to my own internet gearfag oneitis, but it absolutely stood above the rest of shortlist. I love it. >Ibanez GRX70QA HSH Bad and thin sound, cheap feeling, barely a notch better than the Ibanez I had, only less banged up and fucked with. >Ibanez SA160QM HSS Actually sold out before I got to the shop kek >Jackson JS32Q HH Mediocre and completely lacking versatility, maybe if you're 15 and have a tunnel vision of only ever covering your favorite metal band then it might be good for you, otherwise a hard pass (though minimally better build quality than the Squier the Ibanez). >PRS SE 254 Standard No build improvement over the LTD, actually sounded rather shit (buzzy and whiny), dunno, maybe it was badly set up? It just didn't click with me. No single/split coil was a pass too, was only considering it if it blew me away otherwise. >Gretsch Didn't get to try, sorry Bigsby user, they were hanging in the top row and I didn't want to bother nice boomer owner to get one down for me. Felt like I was already overstaying my welcome anyway (guess I didn't seem like a buying type kek). Will go back to try another day. Thanks for reading my blog, remember to like and subscribe.
>mfw retarded poorfa/gg/ #2457 thinks anybody /gg/ives a sin/gg/le solitary fuck about his poverty shitplank adventure >posts a wall of empty wallet cope no one is ever /gg/oin/gg/ to read /gg/oddamn this is the hardest i've lau/gg/hed all week holy shit
truth is, guitar amplifiers are fucking retarded. you don't need a 'special amplifier' for guitar. guitar isn't different than anything else that needs to be amplified. it's a jewish fucking scam to bilk rarted ngmi's out of their hard earned dishwashing pennies.
just get a REGULAR fucking amplifier, stupid. your dumbass boomer amps with 'tubes' sounds like shit and aren't applicable outside of your faggot biker bars where you play rock and roll (aka nigger music) to homosexuals.
anyone on /gg/ ever made a diy guitar? I'm lookaround for something cheap and portable to practice and i'm wondering how much it to be to make a cheap clone of the Lapstick that had space to nest something like a Vamp3 or a a Pocket Pod so I could just plug in and practice when I'm out instead of just my Washburn Rover or taking one of my guitars with a pocket amp?
I have 6 already but they;re bulky to travel with, the Lapstick design looks the raddest to me but nothing like it is cheap. I can buy a parts kit for like $60 but I'm just curious if it's plausible to make something like the Lapstick with other stuff in it. That looks rad.

so whats the advantage of building a do-it-yourself guitar over building a regular guitar?
