It was connected to 4 other episodes of different shows too, I remember the alien invasion campaign CN did awhile back.

I definitely watched this show all the time, but for some reason, the only episodes I can remember are the one where Jake goes to a plant school, the one where Giraffe goes to high school, and the one where Jake gets a moustache.

Yep, people dreaded Johnny test nostalgia years ago, and now here we are. That being said, older people felt the same about those my age having Phantom menace nostalgia.

Not only does this always happen for cartoons, it always happens for movies and music. Just go and look at some Youtube videos of songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. Everyone says they don't make songs like that anymore. Not even considering they're listening to the best songs of that time.

That post is kinda right. 1991-1998 was the golden age of Nick. 1998-2004 was the silver age of nick, the era he was complaining about at the time, which was better than what came after, but Nick's shows at the time seemed too safe/clean while CN was kicking their ass.

I had an uncle who grew up with cartoons in the late 70's and 80's. I remember watching Rocko's Modern Life in the early 90's and him saying "What happened to real cartoons?" and making similar rants you'd see on Youtube comments, claiming that the cartoons he grew up with were the best and that "modern cartoons" (back in 1994) were terrible.

I was a kid when this show was airing, and even back then I hated it. I never had any idea what people in my generation saw in most cartoons from that era, let alone still see in them

A kid is staying overnight in a hospital because he' scheduled to have to tonsils taken out early the next morning. He's sharing a room with a kid named Martin who's scheduled to have his foot amputated and keeps insisting that he isn't Martin, every time a nurse or a doctor or any adult calls him by name he just insists "I'm not Martin." During the night, Martin switches the charts on their beds, so the story ends with the main character getting prepped for a foot amputation while the doctors disregard him insisting that they got the wrong kid.

But I get hella more entertainment by far out of TTG than Johnny Test though. Johnny test is just kinda boring and uninteresting most of the time. TTG is just shitposting the cartoon.
