Norton, not even a fucking contest

Norton > Bixby > Bana > Ruffalo

It just feels like Ruffalo is just there and really had no good story to him.

Bana, he's the weirdest
Norton's terrible

Not enough jokes. Ruffalo is a way funnier Banner and Hulk.

are they supposed t be funny?

>Bruce Banner
>funny
No, Banner is WITTY but only because he's fucking suffer the character. Norton got that perfectly

Bana. His performance was the best at portraying the damaged person version of Banner

Ruffalo makes me cringe both in MCU and IRL. I recently rewatched the Norton film, and I really enjoyed his acting.

To add to this, I liked Ruffalo's performance in the first avengers film, but then he just escalated the funny guy persona.

Bixby

Yeah his character got assassinated to hell and back after avengers 1.

Bana was the best. Still the most Hulk scene ever youtu.be/Bnh2AplyKi4

Definitely. His intro in Avengers was solid.

I like the "I don't always get what I want" with the baby cradle.

Bill Bixby is the only Banner who anyone can remember. That says everything.

Bixby had a good run, and watching lou transform was often funny enough.

Definitely Norton. It might be unfair to Ruffalo, because a big part of Banner's character is that he's on the run and has no one to turn to. But, regardless, Ruffalo's Banner never has that threat. He's never tired, hungry or humiliated. Bixby had the problem that, for a t.v series, he had to become hulk in every episode and Norton is just a better actor than Bana.

Norton, but he’s a real cunt to work with and I see him coming back as a villain or as a hero. Ruffalo was best for Disney/Marvel. Bana was meh.

+1 for Norton. The closest anyone's gotten to having panels behind them.

Can you expand on why norton is hard to work with?

>Norton evidently did a substantial rewrite of the movie just weeks before filming started, and Leterrier shot as much of Norton's script as possible, along with Penn's, which resulted in a very messy, convoluted cut. Marvel executives hated the edit and ordered a new one, with more action and less dialogue and character development—the latter two were largely Norton's focus. Marvel so resented Norton's meddling that when it came time to bring the Hulk back to the big screen as part of The Avengers, the role was given to Mark Ruffalo.

It’s been like an open secret in Hollywood that he’s an amazing actor, great at Method acting, but is also an asshole and even a cunt to work with.

I really miss when Hulk was treated like a threat

>this entire scene
>Ruffalo actually being Banner perfectly

Have any of the live action adaptations given a good reason on Hulks name?

Like why Hulk, specifically?

Would like to see a straight up savage Hulk be the main threat in any new Avengers movie.

How long did that Banner-less Hulk arc last?

Okay that's actually cool to know. But in the movie, who actually was the first to call Bruce Banner giant green form Hulk.

I think about 24 issues;
He gets banished to the Crossroads at the end of 300, returns 312,
Rages on til return of Grey Hulk and David takes over the book soon enough.

Norton wanted to do a character study of Banner, Feige was just determined to make him a comedic sidekick from the beginning.

I agree with Norton, that makes an actual good movie. But that is not part of the plan.

>tfw MCUfags ironically say that the Hulk in Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Endgame improve upon the source material.

Dang.
That was a good scene.

Never watched bixby/ferrigno. Norton best cursed suffering scientist. Bana best jekyll/hide relationship with hulk persona. Ruffalo's Banner was shit, but Avengers 1 hulk was GOAT.

I unironically liked the Hulk's characterization in Ragnarok.

So did I.

It was the only time in any movie that some of the classic Savage Hulk's personality was present, because it's the only movie where he fucking talks.

That and Endgame, technically.

get yourself sorted OP

Bana is the best.
Norton is the garbage.

Bana was cool I feel like he was actually struggling with hulk
