You know honestly I thought you were kind of a troll at first and put off listening to your stuff for a while, but shill is actually pretty good! Is this all you, or do you perform with a band?

I play in too many bands but yea shill is all me. Obviously inspired by dark matter nebulas bleak, I mostly just wanted a way to show that I listen to you guys and that I am competent at making music. This is a wonderful community and so many great sounds are being made here, it reminds me of my music scene that’s been all fucked from the pandemic. Keep shilling and I’ll keep listening
You sound poggers dude good stuff I unironically like it
I scour the internet in search of all the most eclectic melodic samples and capture them in stone with my drum selections. Have a listen, tell me what you think.

Nice lyric video, looks real good. Whole thing turned out well
A frequent thing that I see that these "type beat" tracks is that you guys will make one part and then drag it out for the whole song. Some variation helps keep the interest, the 3 videos I watched were all pretty boring and felt low effort. I know all you're doing is dragging and dropping samples you found on top of eachother but some effort and originality would go a long way.

Greetings based one
Well I’m not sure what I just listened to.
I make loops you see, I do it for emcees.

Brand new mix, big dance & techno vibes. mixes getting way better
soundcloud.com
also here is a house mix of mine
yeah but why just one loop per song? That's lazy to me.
Sometimes the art is also in what's not there. It's a drastically minimalistic approach that works for DJ Premier, J Dilla, Kanye West and The Alchemist.
Based
Giving the new track a listen, mix is pristine on this, god damn. The groove with the bass and guitar is really impressive, bass tone got me amped. If i have to critique one thing, I wish the drums had a bit more ambiance to them. This is more technically proficient than 99% of the stuff on here, great work.
Also based
This was a fun mix, I don't have any new feedback but this guy is integrating some really cool ideas, the vocal loops/samples were especially interesting.

I don't know what the hell I am. I just play a little bit of guitar.

i feel like people aren't as up to par musically or imaginatively wherever i go and it's hard to find people to collab with at a "charting or studio" level that aren't extremely professional workers already. All I am looking for is my own industry plant. Sigh.
That's everyone. Everyone wants a person who already has it.

you seem really good at composition and arrangement. the performance is obviously weakened by the demo sound, but seems very precise and spot on. would love to hear a final, produced version of this. liked and followed

will return all feedback!
The flame demo or the live and learn? I know the learn demo was sort of rushed and it shows.
Thanks regardless, new to soundcloud threads.
Music for alaska nights is very much like the northern lights, wavey, smooth, electric.
Listening to the sky wasnt large enough right now. Very chill. Something to ride to.
thanks a lot man!
well I was specifically referring to live and learn, but I listened to both (and enjoyed both!)
Your production is great. The tone for just another christmas song had a very fuzzy, warm tone. Very nice. Come lonely soul has those synths in the background or strings and it adds to the ambience. Great styles all around, folk, rock, punk, indie. Very ambient, very warming, very spacious. Chill stuff
thank you so much man, it means a lot. I hope you keep posting more tunes on here
you know all but the rarest few unsigned demos get to sound great. label productions go through so much preparation and other musical and technical personnel to sound like it does. even at late mastering stage label managers reject audio and send it back to the artist/producer

yeah i'm not listening to your stuff just like you won't listen to mine
The more I listen to DMN’s stuff, the more I like it. lazy is my favorite track. I enjoy a reverby guitar.
Atmospheric, chaotic, yet comfortable somehow. There are some melodic sounds buried in there, but they nicely broken up or complimented by the continual steady noise. I’m still new to listening to this sort of stuff. Both Mephisto Waltz and DMN know what they are doing with sound and noise and it’s fun to revisit your guys’ work from time to time and hear things from a different perspective.
I like the spooky beat, but I don’t care for the lyrics so much. I have no idea how to write lyrics, and I’m sure it’s not easy. Probably someone else could give you better feedback on that.
There’s a little too much going on for me in this track, though I think if I was at a party or a show this would be a good thing. I don’t really party anymore.
This genre is not for me. Keep at it though, death grips is very popular on Yea Forums.
This is basically drum n’ bass, which I like. Someone could freestyle rap over this and it would sound cool.
Jam band/ rock fusion stuff. I listened to the bardo, it sounds good. Kinda makes me want to smoke a joint.
Good music. Reminds me of built to spill. Hague Reunion sounds awesome.
I never listen to this style of music, but it sounds good as far as I know. I imagine this would either play at a club or a giant music festival, and everyone would be pumped.
This is pretty much a remix of a madonna song. I like madonna’s early stuff, and this seems like a solid remix.
Listened to dread of neurotic desires. I like where you’re going with this, it’s kind of a goth/metal thing. I’ll try to listen to more later.

I’ll try to check back later. I gotta get my day started.

Listened to your music also. dreamy ‘80s pop style reminds me of tears for fears. The only thing I don’t like is the auto tune, though it’s not too distracting to me. Solid track overall.

I gotta say that your branding isn't doing you any favors. People can tell visually whether or not they might like your music before they listen to more than even 15 seconds. Just looking at it, your album cover is a complete mess of random colors that have no harmony or even contrast. There is blue, yellow, pink and black colors. Looks like you jizzed on a blue target That's not a color scheme that's a wanking mess. Also, your profile pic is just some shitty blown out picture. Your banner looks like it wasn't even made by you.
And then we get to the music. There is no visual structure. Look at the waveform, there are no quiet or loud parts of the song which indicates a lack of structure, tension, drama, progression, all the shit that makes a song a song and not a random collection of sounds. Just looking at the music I can tell that I am not going to like what I hear. So when I listen to it, and I must admit, it doesn't sound as bad as it looks when you let it play for 3-5 seconds, but it doesn't completely wow me, I am just going to decide like any other rational person to not listen to any more. Time is really valuable and you have to respect that. Other people should be able to tell immediately that your song is going to be good by just looking at it so that they are prepared to invest the time needed to properly enjoy it. Once they start to listen you just have to confirm their (hopefully positive) preconceived notions about it.

I posted further up. Midland port. The song "Lost" is definitely different, very ambient, somewhat dark, very suspenseful and keeps you on edge. I enjoyed it. Listening to "Overvolt" hard hitting, in your face, like that jazzy break. Its hard. Sonically it is so aggressive and no nonsense. Real good
