How are John and Rose's routes? Are they worth reading?

Annoyed that friendsims are continuing to be a thing instead of going for the same stuff as in Namco High.
penous
Spades Slick is vaguely alluded to in the opening spiel, so that automatically gets a point from me. Unfortunately, apparently this is going to tie into the Homestuck epilogues, with explicit references to it and it's events, so that point is automatically retracted. Rose is pretty, tho.
Johnrezi.
Rose's route also lets you meet with hot Mom Lalonde.
So I think it is good
>Spades Slick is vaguely alluded to in the opening spiel
How and where exactly?
Namco High was a dumpster fire.
MSPA Reader describes watching the scene about Doc Scratch being attacked by someone, who is hitting him with a cane. This particular scene based on this. Focus on both top and panel, since this is likely the timeline where MSPA Reader leaves the scene.
Yeah. It's a pretty meager reference I'll admit, but such are the breadcrumbs that us Midnight Crew fans are made to subsist on.
are the homestuck epilogues worth reading? I didnt even realise those were a thing. I thought everything was done now
It never ends, user.
It never FUCKING ends.
They are written ironically (or unironically) like bad fanfiction and that left a really bad taste in people's mouths. It goes in a weird direction from canon but hey if you're interested go for it.
I WONT GO BACK TO HOMESTUCK Yea Forums STOP THIS SHIT RIGHT NOW
I'll be completely honest, the only real upcoming Homestuck project I'm interested in is Hiveswap : Act 2. I really couldn't give a shit about where all the characters from Homestuck go on from here, quite frankly, the epilogue just wasn't my thing at all, but based on Pesterquest, I guess every Homestuck related thing involving the main cast is going to be weighed down with that baggage the epilogue brought with it. Hiveswap at least has the benefit of being unrelated to all that, though I could be wrong. I'm going to be pissed if they try and drag epilogue bullshit into it.
Heirs breed Seers.
Meat was worth reading, just assume that the gay shit was undue influence from the people that are fighting.
That was the best part of the entire thing.
Threadly reminder that Spades Slick did nothing wrong.
also requesting that someone dump some ss images
NO
Unless this is some kind of VN thing where I can date Rose and other Homestuck girls then I have no interest and I wonder what the point even is.
Y'know, trawling the archives of MSPAbooru for decent Spades Slick fanart in a vain effort to keep this thread going is making me realize how many Homestuck artists seem to have just disappeared off the face of the earth.
It's more akin to the Friendsims that came out a while back. Only two volumes for it have come out, but it mainly seems to be retreading old material, alongside a tenuous link to the epilogues, in case you cared about those. I don't, really, the only real major selling point I feel is the art, which is actually really fucking good.
june :)
The art is fine, sure, but I sincerely don't care for revisiting the older days when they're linked to the garbage that are the epilogues and the last acts.
Fair enough, I mainly just felt like giving kudos to the artists, who I felt did a pretty good job, even if it's not an art style I would normally associate with Homestuck.
i want to kiss rose
NOOOOOO
>Hiveswap : Act 2.
>he still thinks it's actually coming out
it looks like it was drawn by a twitter artist with a gun to xir head. Superficially trying to look like classic Homestuck, it confuses endless interpersonal problems with engaging storytelling, and gets every aspect of both plot and character wrong.
No clear distinct direction in the concepts or storyline. Everything is like a plate of mush. The dialogue doesn't follow the original characters that preceded their current iterations - they go wrong in awkward bored-middle-class directions. It's not entertaining or brutally violent or funny or remotely relevant. It's completely artificial, detached, and insincere. It screams "lie".
you are all alone, user
Eh, it's fine.
Reminder.
