I can't think of any at DC, Marvel or Image, but there's a trans boy in James Tynion's The Backstagers. For whatever reason, trans men seem to be less numerous than trans women

It's generally true of either gender that this question is pointless because you wouldn't necessarily know if someone was trans just by looking at them, but that's even more the case with ftm because it's easier for them to pass and there are fewer stereotypes about them (like how people here call every women with slightly broad shoulders or a squarish jaw a tranny even if they're cis).

The first is just sort of a creeper because I met them because they were trying male sports but they seem into being male enough, whereas the second one is one of those trannies who are only trans because they are mentally ill and have worked themselves up into a frenzy that it will be this one thing that finally makes them happy unlike the million other things they've tried and hours of therapy they sat through.

There are significantly more MtF people than FtM so they're the ones that stand out more in public perception and historically.

I only really know of three trannies, one that was born as a guy who likes really feminine things but is fine with both gender pronouns so I have no idea what they are, another born as a guy who is torn on whether or not he wants to be a guy or girl, and a girl who came out as a guy and isn't sure if he wants to have surgery. The second friend I am worried about the most because he constany has internal conflict.
The only trannies I met were FtM, but that was only 2. My friends sister was a lesbian who used to try to tape her boobs tight to hide them she didn't even come out as trans but something weird was going on.
There are so many gay people though. People say its unrealistic to e a lot of gays in media because we're 0.1% of the population but I swear we are like Stand users and end up finding eachother. Maybe trannies are like that now?

Most transgenders are male-to-female. The reality is that most of it is due to one of two reasons: fetishism (i.e. autogynephilia) or failed male who thinks they might start getting status and attention and take away from their shitty personalities if they're "women".
The differences are easy to spot. The fetishists usually make an attempt to actually look like women since, again, they fetishize the female form and thus want to be as close to it as possible while the failed males basically are the "guy in a dress with makeup" stereotype.
Female-to-males are pretty easy to recognize by the fact they look like high schoolers despite being in their 30s.

In the past, the goal of trans people was to transition from one gender to the other and reintegrate into society. In recent years, there have been more "trans trenders" who crossdress because they enjoy the attention or they're just exploring their sexuality and not because they intend to go through with the full surgery. The trans trenders are more likely to use the nonbinary label and freak out and attack people online for using the wrong pronouns or for addressing a group of people as "you guys." A lot of trans trenders are also furries or otherkin. Older trans people seem to have contempt for trans trenders because they make everyone look bad and they hurt the chances of more traditional trans people being accepted by society.

Most people would be more accepting of furries than transgenders in my experience, that experience being both a furry and MTF myself.
