Not sure I have one. It would be lovely to find the embodiment of my kitten in this world, but I don't count on it. I suppose my aim for the time being is to build myself up so that I can help those I care about if the dark-future I fear comes to pass.
Volume of fire is key in 8E, so squads of fire warriors, commander suits, broadsides, and Riptides / variants (I like my Rvarna). You want to castle up some of the guys because of FTGG. If you have battlesuits, give them shield drones to eat big hits.

Brooms are in a class called magic tools. Stuff you can buy to enhance or otherwise help out your magic. Wands are also included in this category. (noelle has a wand to help control her magic)
Fanzell's wife Dominante from the witches forest arc specialises in magic tools. Hence the invisibilty cloaks they used
It doesn't even matter. It will air on [as] regularly just to appease Genndy's whiny ass then reruns will be forced on Toonami when it doesn't matter anymore and we need 3:30 AM filler
It'll be hilarious when everyone watches Primal expecting some hardcore adult violence and yet Genndy will still use those hannah-barbara classic cartoon cartoon goofy sound effects

He might think airing next to the anime tanked the potential ratings (despite the fact that Jack premieres were some of the final instances we saw 1 mils in recent memory), which is why it'll be funny if this 5 night event on regular [as] does worse than an average Toonami night now

>having to sleep this damn early for some hippie dippie shit in the morn My relatives are too damn pure for a sinner like me, irritatingly so. Do your best through the Retard Power Hour. Mr. DJ, assume I liked at least half your tunes. Everyone else, stay safe and keep your girl close to your heart. I’m going to do my best to dream about my beloved. With just a little luck, I’ll be able to see you all next week. Until then, sweet dreams and happy waifus.
>Black Clover over Welp, that brings an end to our necro posting this week. At least I have a new nemesis... I guess. He's working on it. I leave you with the Wishing Skeleton. Until next week, stay spooky.
Well shit. Japan proves once again that they have terminal shit taste. Why such short notice? I assume it's due to poor sales, but surely there would have been a trend where the mangaka could've seen this coming and at least moved things toward a conclusion, right? I doubt it would've dropped to shit sales overnight, there had to have been a decent period of time where it was riding the borderline.
I'll never understand why they make tits that huge.

>Bort n Nard retard supreme power hour Well fuck, at least I got Astral Chain yesterday
Damn straight I'm buying it.
The dex thing hurts though and I blame TPCi and their need to turn the franchise into a well oiled machine instead of giving games the proper time they need. But whatever, I never actually filled up my national dex in most games anyway.
Hey hey hey, Toonami General, it's Deep Space Radio here ready to give you some good tunes to get you through the ninja hour!
First up, here's a swingin' cover of Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark from PostModernJukebox, featuring Von Smith. youtube.com/watch?v=X-Ziw_TwXrM This fella can really sell it, baby. I haven't been looking through PMJ much lately because it feels like a bit of a crapshoot style-wise, but this one really nails it, I think. It's going for the 50's sockhop style, and it came out really good, with a damn solid sax solo in the middle. Pretty damn good, I think, so see what you think!
I still can't believe that Johnny Yong Bosch was the dodgeball wizard in KND. I love him.
Isaac Brown
Hey, while we're on the retro feel, let's do some Sam Cooke, with Another Saturday Night. youtube.com/watch?v=8N1qQHzh6-A This one goes out to all the lonely souls out there tonight. I really enjoy that nice little rhythm it's got, and a little sax bit in there too. Sam's vocals are classic, and fun to sing along with. But don't you guys worry, you ain't got nobody, cuz you've got us! Ain't double negatives a headache?
>Chad Clover ends >bort nardo power hour slows the thread to a grinding halt Every time...
I hope when DBS ends they move up BC since we're about to get a couple of brilliant episodes in a few weeks
Kevin Green
>Sam Cooke Damn, this is giving me flashbacks to when I stayed with my grandma as a kid and she'd play Sam Cooke, BB King, Curtis Mayfield, and Al Green
>I assume it's due to poor sales me too, damn shame as even small fry was getting some development. Guess we just gotta focus on not being sad that it's gone but happy that it happened
Next up we'll continue the theme (and this is about as far as it goes) of jazzy swing with Platina Jazz doing Fly Me To the Moon. youtube.com/watch?v=lx1uG9dBk6E These guys are pretty keen, they do jazzy covers of anime songs. I'll be looking into others of theirs but I've already seen their Devilman cover and it sure has some effort put into it, I'll give it that. But I wanted to start with this one because it's so easily recognizable and statistically, many of you probably first saw/heard of EVA from Toonami.
This guy really goes for the Frank Sinatra sound (I think that's just how he goes, guy's got a style, and good on him for it), and the orchestra is on point. That's some fine solo work - all the best ones seem seamless, after all. It's a crazy world we're living in where anime soundtrack covers can have this kind of effort put into them, ain't it?
But we've seen each other naked. We're practically married!
Ian Davis
So, I picked up Earthsea on a whim...
The movie was odd. Kinda like there were three stories going on that were only loosely connected. (Which, I suppose is accurate, as it supposedly picked elements from four of the books...) Yet, it did kinda come togather... There's just a fair bit that could have been cut and didn't really lead to anything.
Like, we didn't really need the scene with the king and his counsel, the maids, or even his assassination. The movie likely would have been better served picking up with Sparrowhawk immediately.
Though, I laughed hard when the villian turned into 2-D and started muttering retardedly.
Fairly pretty art and smooth animation, though on the low end for Ghibli.... I don't regret watching it, but I probably won't watch it again
Okay so this is where we drop the jazz theme but we'll ease you into the last one for tonight by going into this 90s pop rock song. Here's Jesus Jones' Right Here Right Now. youtube.com/watch?v=MznHdJReoeo Gotta love that 90s sound, everyone trying to sound so damn deep but it's got such an optimistic sound to it, doesn't it? I really like the rhythm, the guitar's got a nice sound, kinda soothing or something. I would have sworn from the vocals that it was some other band - I don't know anything else these guys did but I really can't think of who else I was mistaking them for. Anyway, this is a nice relaxing kind of rock tune to ease you into a false sense of security before I blow your ears out with the last one here.
Once in a while. Just the other day I remembered that scene from Parasyte where Shinichi ripped another parasite's heart out, and I went back to that thread in the archive to see TG's reaction to it again.
I'd really like it if all the TG threads were isolated somewhere with markers added for when each show starts and what episode it was. I think it'd be nice to relive the old threads years from now.

I don't know what it is, but Fire Force just feels... disjointed? Like there's some kind of disconnect between cause and effect in the plot.
I guess Dr. Stone is still in its "new show syndrome" stage since it hasn't really grabbed my attention yet. The repeated catch phrases kind of annoy me too.
Weird how Food Wars is so much more hype than Fire Force. The practices of the "school" still irk me something fierce. I wonder how much food those fucks are wasting.
Somehow, against all my expectations, Black Clover went from the poster child of mediocre shonnen to something that's actually entertaining.
Asher Richardson
The ride never ends, user. Even after the coming finale, it won't end.
Xavier Morris
Wouldn't happen to know which thread had the "ARE YOU FUCKING SORRY?!" when Shinichi had that hilariously awkward looking angry/sad face, would you?
Fire Force has the same problems as Soul Eater (but the latter is protected by rose tinted goggles) where the author just dives headfirst into the arcs without buildup.
Brayden Morris

How are you gonna get to be around a room of mature and respectable women when you can't be mature and respectable yourself?
Which is why I said it had all the good and bad of being an Ohkubo series. Though there were definitely some oddly paced bits in a few of the episodes so far.
Finally, I managed to beat Astral Chain, and there's one track in particular I wanted to highlight. Here's Dark Hero. youtube.com/watch?v=AvvMnQ2ylQg Those vocals are beautiful, baby. And the guitar rocks the hell out, this is prime anime metal right here. There's actually also a male version if you picked the male main character, but concensus seems to be the female version is better. youtube.com/watch?v=86wE0ly_h5U I'll of course leave that for you to decide. I haven't listened to it myself because I don't really care enough, sorry, but I'm told the male version sounds auto-tuned. It's funny, though, because having those two versions has led people to the conclusion that the main theme, Savior, is sung by the two twins together. youtube.com/watch?v=FcwwDihccJU I'll leave that for you to decide.
But that's all for tonight! Hope you've found some new stuff to listen to, at least! As for us, we're out for another night! We'll be sure to grab some new tunes and be ready for the ninja hour again next week! See you then!

Soul Eater was just kinda meh for me. The characters could've used more interactions so I could believe they give a shit about each other.

People actually care about Sumire. The class was already making a big deal when she was gone just for a little bit. Not worth the hassle. No one will miss a gay little orphan boy, they could keep him locked up forever.

It's setting up an OVA arc that predated the anime/manga, but does get adapted later. Basically you can slap a jutsu into the device and store it for later, and then use them at will from the device. Incredibly dangerous and efficient, but Boruto decides to be a little shit and stow it into his Chuunin Exams despite Naruto disbarring usage of the device in the exams for not being indicative of the shinobi's actual skills.
>Mizuki tricked Naruto into stealing a scroll. >Got his ass kicked and locked up forever. Is stealing a serious crime in Konoha compared to murder and outright terrorism?
We got a lot of wind and rain here, but we lucked out with not taking the brunt of the storm. Wind speed topped out here at about 135mph. Uprooted and knocked over a tree in the backyard, but it fell away from the house.

>dont say doing your wife dont say doing your wife >... >doing your... son?
Overall, I like it. But I feel like the vocals don't quite mesh with the mesh with the driving part. Though, they mesh quite well with those parts where the tune mellows.
Yeah, the male version has that auto-tune flutter all over the place... and the same meshing issues...
No such luck, user, sorry. It should be easy enough to find, though, if you search the archives for that string on Yea Forums during the period of months when Parasyte was airing for the first time.

>go to Yea Forums archive >open search box >input date range between when Parasyte was airing, October 2015 to April 2016 >search for post text "are you fucking sorry" I went ahead and did it for you, user. Could it be this thread? desuarchive.org/co/thread/80912454/#80913297 Three mentions of the string within a short time in a Toonami General, evidently during Parasyte's timeslot judging by the surrounding posts.
Ethan Scott
Maybe, though I could have sworn someone said the quote and then got a bunch of funny responses, unless I'm thinking of a similar instance where someone pulled the "Are you fucking sorry?!" quote during Toonami.
Jason Howard
You could always rewatch Parasyte for the episode with that face in it and then navigate to the TG thread from that night in the archives.
Gavin Kelly
Yea, but it could have been another show from around the same time. Given how long ago it was, I might have just mixed up two different instances.
