I couldn't believe my fucking eyes and ears when I saw this, I paused the TV in fucking shock they actually pulled this shit.

Enjoy it while it lasts Duckfags, Daisy is coming.

>Daisy's coming is heralded by 166% Satan
What foul beast IS this woman?!

Glomgold is the hero we need. And Sharkbomb will continue his legacy.

>According to staff, this were already planning on making a new original song because they knew they'd never get the rights to use the song.
>Executives liked the scene so much they put money to give them the song for the episode.

>Owlson, help me up onto his casket so I can dance on it
Amazing.

I'm really looking forward to Daisy and Penumbra battling for Donald's affection

And the song made it all the more insane

Donald is legitimately the best person on the show so what reasons can they invent to make Daisy upset with him

I know it probably won't be so but I feel the best way they could introduce Daisy'd be making this the first time they meet in-universe. So it's less the typical story of Donald and Daisy's relationship and more on the story of how the two met and hook up in the first place.

Thanks for the heads-up Mega-Satan.

Sharkbomb

He should listen to his father more

Who's the blonde with the dead eyes?

Goldie. And that's a normal reaction to a parent-child relationship as dysfunctional as the Glomgolds'.

Head writer sort of implies she'll be more than a one note bitch

Louie's grandma.

Goldie o'gilt

AUNT!

I really like that response.

>Ditch the bitch
I'd rather not make her a bitch

Oh, I thought it looked like her but I didn't expect her to show up again.

They’re scamming Doofus Drake

Attached: Ed_1.png (416x791, 135K)

All of Doofus Drakes' fans from the original show must hate what happened to him.

Yup, all none of them.

>Scrooge McCuck
Making him into a little psychopath was a great change.

Sharkbomb seems small for his age

I mean, he's being going to anger managment, so maybe before the triplets were born he broke up with Daisy because of his anger problem,

>Daisy wanted to have kids with Donald, ones that were *really* hers and his
>Donald already had the nephews and was angry Daisy couldn't see them as her boys the way he did

Best Boy

Well he could eat more vegetables, but I mean. You try telling him that.

What's his endgame?

>Implying they’ll be able to avoid it
They don’t really have a good track record with this sort of thing.

Poor Glomgold. Can’t wait to meet his ex.

Attached: 32c1a59b985ab8d77f60e56b32a9ffd034e00eb42907f428f6e404004d1dd69d.jpg (1280x716, 126K)

That’s actually semi justified. I wouldn’t want to have to think of Dewey as my own either.

NuDucktales in general is great.
But yeah, Glomgold is great and manages to be the surprising standout characters in a show that already has Donald

>NuDucktales in general is great.
Ehhhh, lets not get carried away.
>surprising standout characters in a show that already has Donald
well it’s not that hard considering that
A. Their Donald is kind of neutered and
B. They barely use him anyways.

I like how Glomgold still manages to be so consistently good even when the versions of him over time are so different.

So Scrooge totally pocketed that money, right? It was right by him.

Probably, that bet from the Duck Baloney episode is still ongoing.

Attached: money clip.jpg (1280x720, 173K)

Is this the current duck thread? Or should we wait to make another for tomorrow night’s ep?

Wait for tomorrow.

Had to respect Glomgold. He knew exactly what to bait Scrooge with and how.

But what about the mother of Donald's children?

This moment still bugs me. I get they wanted to bring back the whole rivalry over who's the richest duck since Glomgold in season 1 was mostly portrayed as inoffensive; But it really feels like they have flat out forgotten about it, as well as to why would that pin be so important for Scrooge.

It’s an integrity thing. The clip did have 2 million dollars in it.

Not a show but he made the movie

Attached: Rattlesnake_Jake.jpg (1440x900, 107K)

Scrooge's reaction felt more like there was a deeper reason for it, but I could be mistaken.

It was last brought up in the doomsday vault episode

Could be he realized that the young boy he tried to teach his way of life ended up being one of his pettiest enemies after robbing him.

A gift from his sisters perhaps?
Or this

What sort of thing? Daisy? I for one like her on the Mickey shorts.

BEGONE SATAN

Attached: droped as an egg.gif (600x338, 725K)

I'm going to assume this is vaguely a DuckTales thread now and ask... does Lena bleed if you cut her? Is she like, made of shadowflesh or something? I figured she was flesh and blood now, but everyone keeps saying she's still made of shadow. What do you guys think?

In the friendaversary song, she says shes made of shadow, and Magica doesn't think shadows have blood.

Attached: you came from me.jpg (1280x720, 133K)

Cut her and find out

Making unlikable characters likable

>does Lena bleed if you cut her?
You expect Lena to cut herself sate Webby and Violet's morbid curiosity?

Look at her stupid cake
she’s so proud

Hopefully, she didn't burn the kitchen down making it.

I really like she's wearing her friendship bracelet.

>I like how Glomgold still manages to be so consistently good even when the versions of him over time are so different.
Nu-Glomgold is great but the show has a hard time justifying why exactly he is the second richest duck in the world. In the comics, the main difference between Glomgold and Scrooge was that Glomgold has absolutely no morals. He did whatever needed to succeed. Lie, cheat, even murder. But he was still just as business savvy as Scrooge and could easily make money completely fair and square. And he could do it with a scheme unrelated to Scrooge.
Nu-Glomgold is completely fixated on bringing Scrooge down, he doesn't even seem to care about money. We also haven't seen any of his business endeavours, just his "evil schemes". Where does his money come from?

Attached: DzPzK4dUUAMkDhU.jpg (1200x897, 303K)

She would. She would in a heartbeat.

...Or whatever shadows have instead of a heartbeat.

my god, what a semen demon

>She would. She would in a heartbeat.
You'd think by now she'd have at least hurt herself bad enough to bleed during an adventure.

Attached: soup-du-silence_tumblr_pwtjk3riix1u98ubho1_1280.png (891x1000, 1.08M)

Provided that she bleeds. She might not. She might just... have shadow-ness drift away or something.

I wonder if blasted by intense UV light she'd be harmed. I really do like they left this sort of thing ambiguous. Like does she even need to eat when she's a literal bottomless pit? How does shadow digest food?

MegaSatan you tell lies, Daisy is going to make the show even better.

For Webby, at this point Lena would be willing to lose a limb. Just wish she could hang out with best boy more often. We got like one scene of them talking on a couch?

She looks hot, but I've yet to hear a voice. Honestly they'd blow my mind if they made her as unintelligible as Donald.
I mean Lena already died for her. Hard to top that accomplishment. While more Donald interaction with Lena would be nice, I'd settle for Louie too.

Attached: 75743750_p41.jpg (3138x2338, 1.87M)

Fink of course.

Attached: 8990736.png (603x633, 108K)

Those thighs deserve their own Pow Card

I feel like Daisy’s too much of a “legacy” character for them to cast anyone other than Tress, but they did cast Tennant as Scrooge. His original VA did pass away but they went for a “name” rather than a sound alike. I suppose anything is possible.

Scrooge is not actually a legacy character since he was made purely by Carl Barks, not Walt. Technically Barks is also responsible for Daisy but Walt was part of the process.

This is true. I still would be surprised if they recast Daisy as she’s been a much higher profile character than Scrooge in most modern Disney media.

Daisy was damn near the only bright spot in Quack Pack. A different shitty life from Donald, but nonetheless shitty, somehow always assigned the very worst stories and staff. youtu.be/WwJTH5di12c?t=868

I totally forgot Kath Soucie voiced her in this show.

Yeah.

Like I said, not claiming that Quack Pack was within a million miles of being "good," but it did prove you can have a Daisy Duck that isn't outright cruel to inflict on Donald. youtu.be/x7PsmicAUzU?t=81

His money comes from doing many things at once and doing them cheaply. Keep in mind, Flintheart Glomgold/Duke Baloney might be autistically obsessed with hurting Scrooge, but that does not mean that he's dumb. If his goal is to become rich to finance his eternal vendetta against Scrooge, then that's what he's gonna do as a prerequisite. Be a competent enough businessman who makes a shitton of money through the selling of cheap enough products through the acquisition of other existent properties and rebranding it with his own face.

If the insane antics of "Multilevel Marketing" CEOs have taught me anything, it's that you can make a shitload of money with no apparent talent if you're just willing to be an absolute greedy dipshit stepping on the hopes and dreams of others.

Willing to raise another woman's children but won't make their own.

She's jealous her nieces have a better rapport with hin.

No I expect Webby to try to cut Lena open to find out what happens.

oh no

Attached: Robotnik enlightened.gif (159x120, 570K)

It'll be fine. They can make her work.

Looking at how they fucked up the Cabs, i highly doubt that.

What’s wrong with the cabs, they are still Donald’s friends.

What planet do you live on?

The moon.

Attached: 5E7D9D1D-0AEA-42E0-8DA9-21635A7092CC.jpg (1254x720, 112K)

What, you mean besides just being used to replay the most overused, trite, and hackneyed “lying at your high school reunion” plots, and having them act like petty dipshits?

I absolutely loved the fact they teased a tragic backstory for him only for it to turn out he was just a petty jackass who changed his name and became a billionaire just to spite a guy who owed him a few bucks.

He is dumb. Remember that coin thing?

I like Wario too

Moon is not a planet, it's a moon

Lies!

Scrooge should have just given him the money.

Probably thought that if Scrooge could do it so can he.

Attached: AB4C36A8-34CA-4943-A248-7C99FE673D09.jpg (960x1046, 546K)

For a take on the Cabs where they haven't seen one another in years and years (which is consistent with Donald being away raising the boys) I see nothing wrong with them wanting to try and impress the others, even if it means some... fibbing.

Louie can swim in money and Scrooge keeps telling him he might be richer than him.

Louie’s laziness kinda gets in his way.

Attached: 8AA7188D-AA94-44D1-975B-FF32ADDFA4A6.jpg (512x285, 21K)

Only a bit.

"Petty dipshits" is pushing it. Being Good Boys, each of them assumed he was the only one who HADN'T been successful. "No way those other guys could be having as hard a time as me, they were awesome!"

I really really really wish Quack Pack had dognose humans instead of human humans. And somehow be tied with Ducktales, as was originally planned. My little autistic self could never forgive Quack Pack for that one thing, and thus I never wanted to even give it a chance those two decades ago.

I still find myself wishing they'd used the Quack Pack design for DuckTales. I can live with a more classic Daisy, but that design was wasted on Quack Pack.

Daisy being down on her luck like Donald really makes them as a couple palatable.

Attached: Daisy Quack pack.jpg (424x318, 13K)

One thing I thought was weird was that they had a few Dognoses, but only in the episode where Donald went back to the Navy. Should've just went with all Dognoses, but I guess I can see what they were going for by basing it off the classic shorts instead of the comics

>Quack Pack
BACK TO HELL WITH YOU

I knew it was shit when I was 5. That show was made by soulless, cynical suits. The used humans on that show which confounded and disterubed me

It's the final piece of the puzzle.

That and her being able to give this look.

Attached: quackpackdaisy.jpg (480x361, 23K)

Nobody is saying it wasn't shit, you retard. Just that there was a gold nugget hiding in the turd. They did precisely ONE thing right.

Two things, the triplets were at their best and most unique there.

>Unique
Not really
>Best
No way in hell

lol no,
I'll take new tales over "radical dudes" any fucking day of the week

Donald interacted with humans plenty of times

Attached: new Lola is best Lola.jpg (1280x720, 89K)

My God, is Glomgold always that based in the show?

Attached: 1567291365276.jpg (700x719, 63K)

While that WAS his best moment, he's almost always a delight to have in the episode.

"CURSE YOU, ME!"

Dear lord. Is he twerking the casket?

Nice. Your trips convinced me even more to start watching the show.

I agree to that. I was mad that they cancelled that (admittedly not great) series to give us that "Wabbit!" show, which was complete garbage.

I feel I've been missing out by not watching this show

Best Lola of all time. No competition. I loved her dynamic with Bugs and Tina - she played off very well to their chill personas. TLTS was a great show - not as great as Duck Dodgers, but still pretty close.

According to the showrunner, they actually scoured through the internet to make absolutely sure Doofus Drake didn't have any cult fanbases somewhere before doing it. He didn't.

Scrooge doesn’t like being cheated out of, especially by someone like Glomgold

That's pretty great.

Attached: making it rain.gif (600x338, 936K)

Awesome.

>All I do is win win win no matter what
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BASED GLOMGOLD

So many good jokes in this

Attached: flinteart-Glomgold-1200x676.jpg (1200x676, 68K)

has Glomgold ever had and Afrikaaner accent?

Most of it is shit, but the episodes with him are worth the watch
That and the Darkwing one

South African in the comics I believe and in the show when he was Duke Baloney as a kid.

In this show.

Based

In this show. He's basically pretend scottish to prove he's a better scot than Scrooge if I remember correctly

Its to one-up Scrooge in every thing.

Attached: 3404718E-A5F9-4AC8-B9D4-5AE26F670E1C.jpg (992x558, 319K)

He even tries to beat Scrooge in age. He’s much younger, not even graying.

The totally immoral Glomgold is pretty much the third version of him though. The original was a direct parallel to Scrooge who just lacked his family. Even Scrooge's win there was due to a nephew pointing out the bit of string around his neck.

The second was in his next appearance where he was obsessed enough with beating Scrooge that he was willing to cheat but was deeply ashamed of having to do so.

Then, in the next appearance, he tries to murder Scrooge outright via strafing him with a fighter-bomber. Barks escalated things pretty quickly.

Honestly, that seemed like a pretty good strategy, he should have kept trying that one.

I'm surprised they didn't do a gag with louie walking over and picking it up in the background.

how the fuck was this kid still talking after he got decapitated by his dad?

>Barks escalated things pretty quickly.
Like when Magica took like four appearances to go from "master of disguise" to "sorceress".

You expect someone of Glomgold’s blood to be weaker than Scrooge’s? Hah! Even Glomgold’s flesh and blood one-up the Scroogey’s family.

He's still a Glomgold, after all. It takes more than a dismembering to put them down, not like those flimsy McDucks!

She didn’t really become a sorceress so much as just find the leftover tools of one.

>It's not a Glomgold episode
let's fix that

Attached: 1529766874686.png (558x876, 622K)

Kids bounce back from anything at that age.

Fair.

The Cabs were great, fuck you.

Attached: eddie-generation-o-8.75.jpg (210x240, 17K)

I hated Quack Pack as a kid. I loved the idea of the triplets getting a new show but I thought it would be tied to Ducktales more. It had no Scrooge.

You were right to hate it. It was awful. They did okay with Daisy, but "they did a supporting character pretty well" is not saying much.

Honestly, you can tell Frank Angones is writing this show given how similar Glomgold is to Hater. They´re both spiteful, hateful manchildren whose biggest enemy is themselves, yet they´re so dumb they can´t figure that out, so they keep making the same mistakes over and over again. They both have a hypercompetent sidekick too.
Although Glomgold is surprisingly more irredeemable than Hater ever was, and that dude blew up planets for fun.

Attached: HATEEER.jpg (480x360, 27K)

>Although Glomgold is surprisingly more irredeemable than Hater ever was, and that dude blew up planets for fun.
Probably because WoY was basically crafted to be Hater's gradual redemption arc, while Glomgold is free to be a complete asshole.

His song was even better than Glomgold's. youtube.com/watch?v=NIsTGAWCnak

Attached: DuckTales S02E19 - Nightmare on Killmotor Hill! (2)_Moment1.jpg (1280x720, 149K)

>You expect Lena to cut herself sate Webby and Violet's morbid curiosity?

Lena would jump into a pile of broken glass if she thought Webby wanted her to.

But only if Webby really really really really wanted it. Lena has enough self preservation that she'd first try to talk Webby out of it, and then try to distract her with something else.

>I dare you Lena to sprout the wings of a bat, stomp like a zombie, and whistle "row row row your boat" through a car wash

Yeah, but if someone clever convinced her that Webby REALLY wanted her to jump into the glass to see if she can bleed, nothing would stop her. She's got self-preservation, but a big part of why she wants to preserve herself at all is Webby. She was a heartbeat away from giving in to Magica when Webby pulled her away.

...Or whatever shadows have instead of a heartbeat.

you know WHY glomgold is so good right? it's because HATE'S GREAT, BEST VILLAIN
