Zim is talking to the Tallest about a predictably moronic plan, and Red taps Purple on the shoulder to tell him he's got a really good idea. They turn around to discuss something before deciding they're going to help him out on it (having also been Invaders at one point) citing sheer boredom as the reason. This ends up being one of Zim's most competent plans ever (not on Florpus tier, but pretty close), and he's about to win when it suddenly goes to shit. Zim has a rare moment of self-doubt and anguish, openly asking how it could have gone so wrong.

The end of the episode is Red and Purple laughing their asses off over junk food, talking about how hilarious it was for them to intentionally give Zim a bullet-proof, master plan like that and intentionally gimp the end so he ends up eating shit.

Impossible, as Zim is actually the shortest Irken in the empire. While some episodes were inconsistent in displaying his height, it is canon that Zim is in fact the shortest, which is one of the reasons why he is so driven to impress the Tallest.
