Pointlessly went to war against her Pink Diamond image, playing both sides of the war, getting countless gems shattered.
And grossly, GROSSLY underestimated how much the other Diamonds cared about her, sending them into 5000 years of grief that made life on Homeworld worse for everyone.
She did eventually get better as Rose, and Steven is part of the best incarnation of her, but Pink herself was an absolute cunt.
Also she tricked, TRICKED Spinel into staying in the garden for 6000 years when she got annoyed with her.
Spinel would've stopped trying to play games and backed off a bit if Pink just fucking asked her.

Her problem is she never tried talking to anyone, instead just lied and kept secrets. That's why Steven can solve all his problems with talking, because they were all caused by his mom not talking.

she was never brought up to have responsibilities because of this and it's her nature that she's not suited for serious contemplation or understanding (why she at best could only pretend to understand humans or love others on a surface level)

As a diamond, she was incompetent. Her family would punish her when she thought she wasn't doing anything wrong.

As Rose, she manufactured the perception that Pink Diamond was super evil. Doesn't help when everyone around you agreed & feeds into your deception.

As Steven, she hated herself so much when she was forced to reform she took on the shape of Steven. She is in such denial that she has convinced herself she is Steven.

White Diamond was right all along. If it were not for Steven pointing out her being immature, White would have won.

And trying to do things Diamond's way made Pink miserable. And eventually made Blue miserable. And Yellow, even though she tried not to show it. And, like, 99% of the gems in the show (although yeah, there were some assholes that were perfectly happy with things the way they were).

Hell, White self-painted herself into a corner, her entire view of the universe was "I am never ever ever wrong." Well guess what bitch, that's an idiot philosophy. One mistake and the whole thing comes crashing down. Like, say, thinking that Pink is totes still alive.

I don't see how that is relevant to Pink's character. It doesn't make White's speech any less true. Steven's rebuttal was just reflecting criticism from Pink to White.

She was a child who threw a tantrum and ran away from home, was too embarrassed to call, and then got teen pregnant.
