Maybe they shouldn't make a dozen different types of plastic, some non-recyclable, when your average plastic recycling center can only handle 4-5 types. Metal recycling in general is both efficient and profitable enough, but glass rarely is due to how dirt cheap it is to make most kinds of glass.

It really depends on how they tackle their messages and what messages they send out.

For instance, everyone can agree that air pollution and smog is bad, even while believing climate change isn’t a real thing. Therefore, instead of saying “reduce pollution because of climate change!” They should say “reduce pollution to help asthmatics and other ill people.”

Best example is China’s stunted trees: climate change or not, that level of pollution is scary and no one wants that.

There are several topics like that: water conservation, recycling (either by repurposing or reusing), saving electricity, wildlife, sustainable resources, etc. that one could talk about and never mention things like climate change. Not to mention some of these have obvious monetary benefits (using less of something you pay for saves money; having more of a resource makes it cheaper, reusing things increases the lifespan of an object and stretches out the money spent on it).

And of course, don’t cover ridiculous things like overpopulation. If the ancient Greeks thought their time was overpopulated, perhaps we can rest that theory for a little while until better facts are presented.

I live in a highly rated city that was brilliant but in the span of 10 years is now struggling to cope with infrastructure and services thanks to over importing the 3rd world. Radically reducing the world population would do more to solve global warming and pollution than any other solution, less people, less problems.

We should start with sterilizing the 3rd world ([particularly China, India, Africa and he middle east) these people are the worst offenders and can't seem to curb their high birthrates.

It's no surprise that the only real region that has seen the least birth rate changes in the last few decades in certain parts of Africa, where they're poor, where their healthcare is shit, where woman are treated like dirt and Christianity has a large influence.
