They could've included like a 30 clip of Spinel going to some remote pink diamond outpost of abandoned technology, but the show is from Steven's perspective. When the injector didn't kill the planet, all stakes were removed
Ending wasn't really a happy ending for spinel, she's probably just going to get abandoned again, especially with Yellow laughing at her trauma
