The show's writing style is slow burn though, remember how long it took them to reveal the backstory between Carol and Gar? CN forced the show to end prematurely so everything was rushed regarding the plot between KO and PV, in Ian's Q&A you can tell he had a shitton of things planned for the show and had to scrap all of it so he could get the major bullet points in before cancellation.

As an ending, definitely, I'm just talking about the impact of hearing the outro song for the last time. Both started as innocent-looking but intended to rip your heart out by the end, AT's was more effective because we were hearing it for 10 years before it ended, but KO's is more fitting and comfier.

It's one thing that the show is cancelled, it's another that CN billed this as just another special and not as the series finale. Why the fuck wouldn't they do that?

You know Yea Forums, I wasn't a die-hand fan of OK KO. It was a decent show that was good for background noise. Watching the last three episodes made me enjoy the series. Something that CN or most networks don't have nowadays. A basic action show with enjoyable characters and plots. While people complained over the animation a lot. The style fit the gimmick of people who may be superheroes or video game characters.

Thinking that the world was too dangerous to protect his loved ones (both from heroes and villains) if he couldn’t be stronger than all of them. Therefore, he made a solution to drain all of them away with TKO’s help.
