Is this as good as people say?
Is this as good as people say?
There's a very easy way to find out
It's his only good book so... yes!
good art good writing
don't get fooled by the writer sine his other books are subpar
Thanks, I was skeptical because his other books were pretty underwhelming but looks like I'll give it a shot
Very well structured.
Not too over dramatic, hits the spot just right.
I enjoyed it.
I like his Miles.
Ahmed? He wrote Amazing Spider-Man annual last year that was fucking incredible. Better than any of Spencer's issues.
Ahmed is actually pretty good
>Is this as good as people say?
No. It's a bog standard Puzzle Box where the main character wakes up not knowing who he is nor where he is and eventually finds out ( the reveals are pretty lame ).
It's got great mood but very little follow through like the runs of tv shows like LOST, X-Files, and Fringe.
The art, however, was stellar.
same
The Absorbing Man issues are fucking terrific.
Yes but the second half while still good is not as good as first half. Largely because Ahmed and Ward were told that it was only going to be six chapters.
Yep! His Exiles is trash, but his Black Bolt is great and he's actually managed to give Miles a good book
Its cool seeing Black Bolt smile, he is one of the characters that unironically barely smiles or gets happy
That is one of the reasons I saved that image (also because it has Watcher Nick Fury and a good showing of Lockjaw and Black Bolt's bond to one another). It's nice to see the silent King smile. only other times I can think of him being happy is at the end of Secret Invasion: Inhumans, Inhumans (1998) and when he was a Bounder for a bit in uncanny inhumans.
The Jailer was a hell of a villain and seeing him come at the end of the series was a nice twist. Also, this is the first series that put Crusher Creel in a likeable light, which is continued in Immortal Hulk. The art, of course, is great... But it was the writing and care that Ahmed gave to Black Bolt that got me real interested in the Inhumans even more than I used to.
I think any series that makes you want to read more about the character and its motivations is bound to be worth reading.
Why he has a penis on his head?
That's just how the artist named Christian Ward drew Black Bolt's Tuning Fork.
Didn't he write that SpOck about getting even with the ghoul in the garage? That made my nipples harder than battletoads
>Blackagar Boltagon
is this a fucking joke?
