Friendly reminder that Steven still hates Kevin despite the worst he's ever done was hit on him while he was fused with Connie.

Steven thinks it's sad Kevin got his heart broken

Who wouldn’t hate Kevin? He’s an asshole with a spoon up his ass. The only time Steven kissed it was when he was so desperate to talk to Connie despite her being in the wrong (fighting a bitch with a wand and a strong antisocial giant, like come on).

>Who wouldn’t hate Kevin?
You could say that about the diamonds too, I do appreciate why they made kevin irredeemable though (telling kids that being a creep is worse than murder is a little extreme but it works)

They probably will have another Kevin episode where he starts to want to change

I hope not ,they kind of already did a kevin episode and there's plenty of more important things to do in season 6

>asking a pretty girl out to dance makes you irredeemable
yikes

He's continued to get her to orbit him
He's gonna get gemsmacked

>thinks that kevin just "asked a pretty girl to a dance"
Yikes

Asking someone to dance is pretty much the same thing as rape

>tell kids that being a rude flirt is worse than galactic genocide
Fixed.
>but it works
Works for what?

That's liiterally what happened.
Atleast from his pov.

He didn't know he was hitting on two kids fused together to make a hot girl.

>Steven still hates Kevin
>Friendly reminder that Steven still hates Kevin
No, he got over it in that intial D episode. Try to follow.

What actually happened is that he couldn't take no for an answer. The Asking our for dancing the first time in itself wasn't wrong.

>That's literally what happened
I just rewatched the scene and no he doesn't just "ask her" and then stevonnie says no and then he leaves, she's clearly incredibly uncomfortable and kevin keeps pushing and pushing despite her saying no multiple times

>tell kids that you should respect the word "no"
Seems like a good lesson

>You could say that about the diamonds too
I don’t give a fuck about the diamonds

>nobody said no when alien invaders destroyed entire species
Great parenting.

Friendly reminder that steven danced with Kevin in his last appearance and parted on mostly amicable terms afterwards, but nobody who parrots this meme will give a shit because it hurts their narrative.

He didnt do anything wrong though, he just asked her to dance.

Yeah and then got told no, and was still pushy and flirty, and then gets told no again and is once again still pushy and probably would continue to be if they didn't unfuse right in front of him

Lars insulted Steven's mother to his face, insulted Steven multiple times to his face and actively tried to ditch him all around beach city (albeit before Steven rose him from the dead as his personal thrall using his ancient necromancy powers) but still. I think Kevin can be forgiven for making a move on a girl he thought was his age and who he thought was pretty cute.

>forgive someone who committed sexual harassment

>I think Kevin can be forgiven for making a move on a girl he thought was his age and who he thought was pretty cute.
And then couldn't take no for a answer, that's the actual problem

Steven pitied them both though. Lars is the one that realized he was being a tool and got better.

You're right, he was also rude and stuck-up. What a monster.

>we will never get a Steven-Kevin fusion with an EDM house theme song

You're right, he's just a flawed character. Come to think of it, I think Steven went overboard when he punished him by murdering his entire family and then locking him up in a gem prison forever.

I think the part that makes the situation morally grey is when Kevin took a shit on Steven's living room floor whilst telling Steven how much of a dumb slut he is, when you consider that than Steven's actions make more sense

Did you stop watching when Stevonnie agreed and dragged Kevin to the floor?

When you want your parents to lend you the car you just don't stop when they say no, you try to convince them; same goes for asking someone out, you're not forcing or threating, just presenting an argument.

Still, you make it sound like he kept bugging all night when and had she walked away he would have returned to dance and try to pick another girl.

Shut up and dilate, tranny.

And did Stevonnie seem even remotely happy about it? It wasn't a "sure you're cool haha" response it was spiteful, and agreeing eventually doesn't erase how creepy kevin was beforehand

Asking your parents for a car isn't the same as asking a girl out, asking your parents for a car is at worst inconsiderate of your parents finances and really annoying, but you already have a relationship and know your parents really well which isn't the case when you ask a girl out, the context is way off
When you ask a person out you stop when they say no, or at the very least you don't be as forceful as kevin was

She did walk away, kevin comes over and dances at stevonnie and she just walks away but kevin still comes over and talks her up

Why would he give a shit about Kevin at this point? He’s got other problems.

He doesn't. Last episode with Steven and Kevin together had Steven and Connie leave him on decent terms (at least on their part). Then we have a two year timeskip so for all we know they're friends now.

Kevin made Steven's girl parts tingle and he doesn't know how to reconcile that feeling, especially when he's in his regular form with no girl parts, so he lashes out against the thing that caused those feelings.

>A somewhat assertive or forceful person is somehow cast in a less sympathetic light than three Space Hitlers
How embarrassing

>Stevencels still seething over Chadvin
Oof

>Kevin getting clingy after Steven treats him like an embarrassing one night stand

It shows that if you are a womanizer, incel, or #niceguy you will be spared from being redeemed via Talk no Jutsu and get Steven to genuinely hate you.

Killing millions of life plants and aliens via gem colony? Easily forgiven. Flirting with a woman? YOU ARE A MONSTER!!!

Yikes

Chill out already.

Doubting they'll be on better terms in the timeskip for Season 6. I bet you it will still be the same.

Wouldn't it just be steven with a short E

Kevin is the best and coolest human in the show.
Followed by Greg.

why is steven's big toe on the wrong side of his foot

At most, he's annoyingly pushy. He didn't fucking follow her home, he didn't harass her, he didn't stalk her on social media, he didn't start getting physical and threaten Stevonnie to be with him.

He literally just kept saying, "Hey, baby, wanna dance? C'mon, why wouldn't you wanna dance with me?" and I guess in today's culture, that's the worst crime you could ever commit.

That’s not Sunstone

If making peace with Kevin meant galactic peace he'd make peace with him

Steven doesn't like him because he made Steven feel uncomfortable in a way he didn't understand while having an anxiety attack for and the first time while knowing Connie is suffering the same

most of Steven antagonist and obviously lashing out from a place of hurt. Kevin is just an asshole.

I like to think Steven fucks Kevin up the ass after the movie ends.

The rules of the show is if Steven likes someone they did nothing wrong even if they're genocidal monsters. But if someone ticks of Steven then they're the spawn of Satan. Whats so hard to understand?
