Friendly reminder that there was a mighty ducks cartoon where they were anthropomorphic ducks who played hockey and fought crime. Jim Belushi voiced their agent and Tim Curry voiced the main villain.

I remember liking this. I thought the spy guy and main dude were really cool. The girl with the blonde hair had a super annoying voice.

>Tim Curry
BUT THEY AREN'T IN SPACE

I loved this. Had the toys and everything

Unironically hope they bring back the old episodes on Disney+

They're from space, though. Another universe, but still space.

>Tim Curry
And his henchmen were voiced by Tony Jay, Clancy Brown, and Frank Welker. All they needed was David Warner and Mark Hamill and they'd have a six-headed Mount Rushmore of villain VAs.

I always thought she was kinda hot.

>me as a kid: "Hey, this show's pretty fun!"
>me as an adult: "Goddamn, Tanya's a brickhouse!"

Why'd they break the fourth wall so much? Might as well have been Freakazoid.

The show was a pretty clear attempt at finding the next TMNT, so the humor carried over as well.

>complete series
Did the show actually get a complete dvd release or something?

Not a chance. There's probably a load of legal rights that Disney doesn't want to deal with since they no longer own the hockey team.

>The show was a pretty clear attempt at finding the next TMNT,
As was 90 percent of cartoons then. Road Rovers, Swat Cats, Street Sharks...

Biker Mice From Mars

I fucking loved this show. Thought it was cool seeing the team blast apart robots, the hockey combat gear was novel to me, and I thought it was cool how the team was often split up with different combos. Though looking back I appreciate some of the references like the Pulp Fiction episode. Always thought it was sad they never rescued Canard from Limbo.

Oh yeah.... Disney really milked the fuck out of it's hockey movie.... 2 sequels, named a team after the movie and a shitty TMNT rip-off.

I liked it at the time, but it's pretty fucking stupid. It had all the right ingredients and great people working on it and in it, but it also had late 90s disney executive ambivalence. and it was FUCKING goofy. Frank Welker's pig-disgusting chameleon character was well-performed, but totally inappropriate for the tone of the show, his schtick of impersonating early 20th century american celebrities made no sense and was never used to improve any scene. Why did the ducks have a severely physically handicapped genius on their team and who styled her hair like that?

>Why did the ducks have a severely physically handicapped genius on their team and who styled her hair like that?
Tanya's lisp wasn't that bad and it was honestly kind of cute. I can't tell if it was official, but I remember hearing somewhere that she stuttered because she was thinking faster than she could talk. The hair was part of the times, dude. I'll agree on Chameleon being too referential and it really shows with how the actual wizard dragon did fuck all in a show with 2 different medieval episodes.

I remember this being a nonstop quipfest. And both female ducks were hot.

Nosedive was my first crush

I miss Tim Curry.

>And both female ducks were hot.
I thought Tanya was better. Though I often wonder how the supposed Mallory and Duke would've worked out and who would've dated Tanya.

I miss weird 90s cartoons like this. What an era.

I remember seeing that mighty ducks logo as a kid and thinking that the movie was going to be something like this. I was very disappointed when i found out it was just about a kids hockey team. I still think it's bizarre this show actually exists.

And Tony Jaa was his sidekick.
