hyped for the new stuff!
not sure if this is supposed to be serious, all I know is I'm not into it at all sorry
it's a demo so I won't complain about it being a little dry, although I definitely would love to hear vocals over this. is it in the works?
absolutely horrible, and that's coming from someone who enjoys Negative XP. why is there so much ground noise in the back?
bro your waveform marketing doesn't do you any favors haha
jk, cool stuff on here. I love your concept honestly, I wasn't sold at first, but this alien persona you created is really interesting. and you obviously have talent for producing electronic music, there's no doubt.
this is cool as fuck man, I almost skipped you because of the lack of effort on your post! I appreciate the high energy and the cool bass lines in the featured track. I also love the wide range of influences I can hear in this. from prog metal to edm. excellent
listened to 'Dread of Neurotic Desires'.
original blend of genres, this is pretty good. I'd turn up the bass (if there's some at all) a lot though, it would sound much less demo-y. and yeah, I know that having a loud bass is kind of heretic in the world of black metal
I fairly enjoyed this. not a fan of vocoded vocals though, but that's just my taste. instrumentals sound cool

Lynette: lo-fi, vinyl-sourced synthwave / dreampop from Birmingham, AL. For the song we have posted, the main samples are from Elliott Smith, Aaliyah, and the 1983 Sumiton Church of God choir band because I found an unopened copy of the album at the thrift store.
We really, really want a rapper to give us a shot and try writing over this.

'Next To You' is incredible, should have 370k plays instead of 37. This is my favorite of the bunch. Jealous of producers who can sound this slick.
reminds me of music that used to constantly play at a restaurant I worked at for 8 years (mean that as a compliment). Good stuff.

This stuff is crazy, I love the vocals, I love the contrast between aggressive instruments and calm melodies. You're definitely going somewhere with this style.
109828642
This seems like one of those albums that becomes a cult classic 20 years after it's released. Incredibly creative.
109833367
Simple but solid, good use of samples, and some of the synths are very interesting. I would not be surprised if someone played this in a niche club or something. Could use less snare rolls tho lol.
109834684
This songs biggest strength is it's texture. I feel like I can reach out and touch the rough, grainy synths and samples. Very reserved and calming, but some noisy stuff to keep you interested. Very cool. Would love to see what you do with a more drum focused track.
fucked up the linking lmao
yeah, probably eventually. Might do another version with a digital multitrack device (Pandora's box or newer Tascam) or DAW.

Dude, there are like 4 threads up already. Check the catalog before posting.
Like your stuff
Neat and sad like I said in the original thread.
I don't have spotify but it sounds interesting.
Reminds me of that Ennio Morricone song. Is that what you've sampled but changed the pitch?
i only sampled the drums from a free cymnatics drum loop
the piano and synths were played by the featured artist while i played the guitars and bass
the synth was a casio sl-tone
heh... sorry.
i find this sound really interesting, somewhat industrial sounding, really dark and athmospheric, but i find the mixing lacks a little bit and fails to deliver its intensity, i find the track really interesting and the ideas that you threw there definetly sound you unique, but in my honest opinion i think the sound pallet sound a little too bassy and dark, making everything somewhat muddy, also, i think that the bass in that track sounds off key, something about it sounds off and i can't quite put my finger on it. overall pretty nice ideas but i found the track a little messy and lacking proper mixing. (also i listened to INIT_0002_MANIA and i found the first half of that track awesome.), great work user still, i can see alot of potential on what you are doing :)
i found the piece to lack on texture and the overall master to be a little too low on volume, im not a huge fan of drone myself so its kind of hard for me to give you feedback on this, maybe work on making your pieces a little fuller.
i don't really know where to start, i found the track cute and pretty interesting, but, i found that the sounds you used sounded a little cheap to my ears and the dark pattern sounded a little generic too, the track also seems to go on for too long and have some pretty uneventful sections, i like some of the detuned saw waves sounds you used (mainly because i'm a bitch for
detuned saws). another thing that i'd like to talk about is the programing, for some reason i found the drum programing and how you put the notes together on your daw to sound sloppy, and not to sound like a broken record but again, the mixing isn't amazing, the track really lacks on low end and sounds a little flat, since this track is three years old and you still upload to this day i'll asume you improved alot since them, i definetly will check out your later work at some point just to see how you evolved...
>sory 4 the typos :)
god damn it i just wrote a whole fucking paragraph on but i pressed esc by accident and now its gone, so to put it shortly, the mixing in bad, great ideas, great guitar tones, drums sound flat, mix sound muddy due to overuse of reverb, and the master sounds flat due to you production choices attempting to achieve the classic lo-fi bm sound, sorry if this post is too vague, i could've gone much more indepth about it but GOD DAMN IT im a fucking moron.
(by the way, i listened also to the second track but i dont really have time right now to talk about that, when i see you again in another thread i'll talk about it).

awesome noisy shit
“Hell pop” is accurate
Feedback much appreciated my dude. I'm definitely still working on properly mixing. The bass being off is probably a result of me not knowing how to sound design synths on pendulate properly lol. I think I need to add some brighter samples to my production, and be a little pickier about my sound design on my next projects.
Nice production on slassher, It has a wide sort of synth pad sound space and tight melodies. The hyperpop voice and lyrics seem like a more chilled out 1-800 PAIN to me. I think that the primary place you could improve would be having more complex lyrics and varied song structure. It's high praise to be at the level of production where you start having to worry about that, so good job!
nice, I listened to your music a long time ago...it's great to see you're still there
i really liked Footnote song , I would add some fast bass notes but is cool song
