There's no way the Disney+ show will feature religion to any significant degree, right?
It'll just be some vague unspecified Middle-Eastern tradition/culture.

>fights Mohammerhead
>has to sit away from the men in mosqeu
Can't wait to get Disney+
If you're asking if Disney will show prayer at a mosque with women sitting in a separate area, then no they won't show that. Progressive muslim representation means that muslims are basically 100% westernized Americans, but they don't eat meat and some of them wear hijabs.
Halal meat is okay. I assume that's how papa Khan got so rotund.
I mean as in, will they even mention the religion by name once
Ms Marvel's imam is a pretty cool guy.
I wonder what the CGI for her powers will look like
A lot of Muslims are like that. Lots of people are only cultural religious, and barely know more then some of the basic tenats. And a part of the comic plot line is those issues of faith and family.
US Muslims are on average decently progressive. Not Catholic or non religious levels, but better then evangelicals or black protestants. A Muslim girl like Kamala who has grown up nearly her entire life in New Jersey would be very progressive.
Netflix showed DD practicing his Catholic faith, so I don't see why not
Shitty, no doubt about that.
>A Muslim girl like Kamala who has grown up nearly her entire life in New Jersey
Correction: her ENTIRE life. Kamala was born in Jersey.
>Kamala Khan will appear in the MCU before the Fantastic Four
You're insane to think they won't
The smart play by Disney would be to portray her religion to the same degree her book does. That is, not a huge amount, just enough that it is a part of her life, but not an all-controlling part.
No we are not.
Most are very religious.
Just the ones in the west are as you say"progressive"
And those that call themselves that are in great risk of kufr because they try to make changes in islam.
So if Disney does show Islam and some other dieties then they would be literally asking to be killed.
And I would gladly kill anyone who does that kind of blasphemy.
Not to mention a complete ban on anything Disney in the middle east and other muslim countries.
Us muslims are not like you Christians who change the scriptures on whims and desires, anyone that does so ceases to be muslim
Come to my faggot rally, we'll cheer up that sour disposition!
Will she qoute the Qur'an to make ethical speeches
Good fuck the fantastic fags
Why are Abrahamic religions still a thing when people like Thor exist and are public figures?
Because there's still a God above all other gods in the Marvel Universe, be He be named Yahveh, Allah, or Jack Kirby.
i dont know if you are a white supremacist trolling or a islamic nut
>religion of love
(. _. )
I know an Egyptian Muslim who is my father's age. Really nice guy, has kind of a scrutinizing gaze like he's appraising you, but more of a kind of side glance "what's this guy's angle" kind of gaze. His son is due to marry a white girl who identifies as agnostic and has piercings all over, and while he's disappointed, he's not flying off the handle yelling to cut both their heads off for whatever, just wants his son to marry someone who is "normal".
Not sure if serious, but if so, lighten up sunshine, be more like the that guy and whatever repressive theocratic nightmare you hail from would improve a lot.
There's only one god, ma'am.
And I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like that.
Its absolutely retarded to have any "real world" "true" religions in anything to do with Marvel or the MCU.
Its makes no logical sense to still have Christians and Muslims when everyone in the world knows Thor, Loki, and Thanos and experience a godlike being trying to destroy earth or the universe every one to 2 years.
Kamala shouldnt be a Muslim and Nightcrawler and Daredevil shouldnt be Christian.
Because gods are brought to life via faith in that universe.
The real question is, where the fuck are Yahweh and Allah?
Just because there are scientific explanations for practically every phenomena we experience in this universe doesn't mean that religious people have suddenly stopped existing. Now apply this same logic to Marvel, where there's a canon "creation myth" that also entailed huge, uncanny prismacolor robots that seeded the universe, but the only religion revolving around thenm comes from the Eternals, who inspired other religions completely unrelated to them.
They exist too, and are among the Skyfathers.
>Kamala was born in Jersey.
This. Has anyone in this thread met a Muslim person born in the US? They give exactly as much a shit about their religion as your average Christian.
Fuck, I met a dude in university who was born and raised in IRAN and was a fucking alcoholic lush.
I'm screencapping this.
