The crazy issues are still far off from now but they'll hit you in the face with their unsubtlety. I guess OP is using the phonebook scans since the Notes from the President and Aardvark comments that are present in the single issue releases aren't here, but they provided a ton of insight into Dave and his going-ons and how his views shifted and changed, so the craziness was more of a gradual descent.
