With how bland the surprise reveals were I feel alot of the wind was taken out of its sails. The jokes didnt land often and the art quality wasnt that good. Add in the fact they post at the same frequency of SU and you end up with no hype.

It fucking hurts that I only started watching this show a month ago and its ending. At least it won't drag on like other shows I guess, but still...

Even though its critics have always been very vocal, it's always had fans. Whenever new episodes were released, we'd have one or two threads that reached the bump limit and had artists contributing new pics. Unfortunately, ever since it was confirmed that the show was being cut short, the haters have been even louder than before. That, along with people seething over Enid and Red kissing onscreen, made it very hard to discuss the last batch of episodes. I don't think we even had the guy who normally put together collections of potential reaction pics from new episodes.

Fink got the the short straw of this show being cancelled. All the other characters were reasonably far along in their character arcs. Whereas Fink was just starting.

He's working on the new episode, and in the movie the big final fight and Steven's song Change, it's really easy to spot him because not only is his animation is faster and more fluid but he's the only one who uses things like shakey cam.

Possible, if it was brought to their attention. You have to assume that the reason CN didn't like the show has nothing to do with how it looks, because there are plenty of other shows with questionable artistic directions on CN. Did they not like the games underperforming, did CN themselves not like the skeleton remote episode after they saw it, did someone at CN get weirded out about the "thicc" characters and want to pull the plug. It could be a lot of stuff.

I’m going to be more realistic and assume popularity, since Ian mentions that specifically in his tweet. Hand drawn shows are expensive and it sure as shit isn’t Steven Universe big.

For the most part, the only people who talked about the show online for the first two seasons were people who worked on it, or had ties to people who worked on it.

It wasn’t lorefag enough and the ship game was mild. Autistic people can’t handle his philosophy of flexibility in character animation and it’s that weird middle ground of too smart for kids and too stupid for adults.

I loved it but it never had the formula. Sure it had waifus but not enough.

If if it was overly hammy and in your face with its message was that so bad? There's nothing wrong with a cast of characters who do nothing but love each other but CN still chose to axe it.
I wish I could have done more as a fan, but at the same time I did everything I could, I would always tell my friends to watch it and bought 3 different people Let's Play Heroes on Steam because I love the show so much. I even blast the OST constantly, it was done by Jake Kaufman who did the soundtrack for Shovel Knight and Shantae. Everything about this show was just so good to me and now it's ending.

I'm just so sad, I adore OK KO and always will, I've been rewatching season 3 in preparation for the end but it's really hard not to cry over this bros.
