About half the characters in the 2002 pic were from Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera cartoons

Even then, CN had much more original quality cartoons in 2002 compared to 2012,

NYC in 2006.

Oh yeah not debating that, I'm just talking about the picture comparison specifically

Cartoon Network in general was much better in the late 90's and early 2000's, they put a ton of effort in their commercials and bumpers

>2002: CN still remembered its past and start-up as the Hanna-Barbera/Looney Tunes rerun channel. Had 11 CN shows still running
>2012: CN barely acknowledges its past and only had 6 original series running, mainly promoting the main trio (AT, RS & TAWOG)

They lost Tarkovsky and McCracken.

Then i look forward to you photoshoping them out of OP's pic

At least they still have their bumps.

Late 90s Cartoon Network hired Weiden+Kennedy, one of the best advertising agencies in the world. WK also did the Old Spice commercials, the This Is ESPN spots, and some of the more famous Nike commercials. They're not cheap, which is probably why CN stopped working with them.

Surprised they haven't revived some of the hanna-barrbera series. In the era of family guy and american dad i'm sure a revived Flintstones would do well, though maybe as more an adult swim show.

Flintstones is getting revived, that shitty Yabba Dabba Dinosaur show and another show for adults

Yabba-Dabba-Dinosaurs was cancelled before it even aired.

Source? Big if true

for one, that's from 2012. it's 7 years old. you could fill those chairs up easily by taking characters just from 2010's CN/AS

A number of reasons
1.Hollywood Jews
2.Creators not wanting to give up any of their rights to their creations to CN
3.Costs
4. New management

>top
>9 CN cartoons released between 1996 and 2002

>3 CN cartoons released between 2010 and 2011
I know this is shitposting but how is this a fair comparison? It's one year vs six

Alot of those 2002 shows are hanna-barbera reruns.

By 2002, only the mainstream H-B toons were still in rotation. Gone were the days of the total crap that no other network wanted.

What i meant to imply was, they're not cartoon network original shows, they're just licensed IP, whereas the 2012 image is only original IP paid for by CN.

I never really was that big into Toon Zone, but the fact that they changed the name of it to Anime SuperHero really baffles me, like what were they thinking? Could they have even picked a worse and more generic sounding name?

You sound gay.
Back to class brandon.

They decided to exclusively hire pedophiles to make cartoons, rather than people with talent.

Why does jack look so annoyed

>soul vs soulless

They had shows like Robotomy, Problem Solverz, Symbionic Titan and Secret Mountain Fort Awsome at the time, It's their fault only using 3 shows

Harley is a stupid bitter catlady in her 40s and the staff are a bunch of autistic freaks.
