they may turn into landfill indie if future releases just become self parody, which i predict will be the case judging by the quality of their album. but yes true landfill indie is a specific era and sound. the kooks and the view were teetering, and eventually toppeled over into the landfill.
but their is a literal fucking slew of bands on the shit heap. it was a disgusting time. crap pop music posing with guitars that were getting signed and then dropped by the hundreds.
