Huntress.

Sgt. Rock
Scalphunter
Sandman (Wesley Dodds)
GI Zombie
I really do not want a new Jonah Hex series anytime soon. I feel that everything has already been done with the character.

Gimme a Black Label Swampy

Suicide Squad
The Question
Amanda Waller
Hawkman
Dex-Starr
Cassandra Batgirl
Clayface
Penguin

Constantine. Always constantine. Keep him away from the main continuity. Give him more friends to fuck over. I just want more slimy limey is that too much to ask.
Hex is a wierd case cause he's already had the perfect run. If a writer had a legitimately fresh take they should go ahead but if its just a western they ahould give it to bat lash or some of the others.
I would kill for a Black Label Question. Just make it Vic and not Renee.

Black Label Question is already coming nigga
newsarama.com/45977-lemire-sorrentino-cowan-and-sienkiewicz-tackle-joker-and-question-in-two-dc-black-label-series.html
>written by Lemire

>Vic Dying over and over again keeping the theme of failure from O'Neil's run alive
Just creamed my pants. I hope they dont fuck this up.

Maybe a western anthology series that would feature Jonah Hex on occasion.

The real question who should get the DC Ink treatment?

Attached: images.jpeg-6.jpg (449x683, 49K)

Holy shit! Might be time to add a 3rd dc book to my pull list

Jonah Hex will be about more adventures in Gotham with Batman

I liked it when Constantine interacted with regular DCU stuff back in the day.
But everything since Brightest Day in 2010 has been shit. Too much flashy magic, not enough planning (and asspulling)

Goldstar

The Question.

Green Arrow

R Rated Power Girl sex comedy/sci fi adventure

Attached: power_girl_by_adamhughes_d1if96z-fullview.jpg (400x605, 39K)

Green Lantern
Lex Luthor
Sinestro
Reverse Flash
Flash
Legion of Doom
Swamp Thing
Secret Six
Crimson Avenger

Zatanna

Count vertigo

The Joker should get another eight Black Label books.

Why so few?

Attached: 5614cad2beda3255a7638c5908ce75dc.jpg (488x750, 68K)

>Wesley Dodds
Fuck yes
Omega men
Lobo
Black Manta
Crime Syndicate
The Rogues

Wildcat
J'onn
Black Canary

I'd honestly rather see original properties, or reimaginings of obscure characters that have been retired for a while. Pretty much what Vertigo did in the '80s through 00s. Not as interested in "this is an ADULT Catwoman story," seeing as it's not like the mainstream line of comics is exactly PG, anyway. All the shit they do with Batman in DC Black (aside from showing his dick) could just as easily be done in the mainline Batman title, if they really wanted to.

Plus, these "mature" takes are rarely more mature. Same shit, but with some "shits" and "bitches" thrown in to be edgy.

What's the appeal of yet another vigilante?

Phantom Stranger

A Wildcat period piece set in the 30s, the late golden age of boxing.

Huntress paizuri

>Cowan AND Sienkiewicz
Holy shit

power girl
zatana
bwana beat

constantine gets a sandman universe book which is close to black label I think

Power Girl

Jonah Batman.

Selina Kyle pre-Catwoman.

Batman

Someone other than Constantine whose in the magic realm, such as perhaps Fate

It's also about time they thought about doing something with the Spectre once again.

A bwana beast/congorilla team up book.

The Spectre
Jonah Hex
Etrigan
Cain and Abel

Dr Fate in some kind of psychedelic nightmare

>cain and abel
House of Mysteries
Anthology series when?

I doubt AT&T will allow DC Comics to publish a non-superhero comic ever again.

That's following a weird AU, and I don't know what to think of it yet

Challengers of the Unknown.

Wild Dog
Warlord
Slash Maraud
Thriller
Wasteland
Tailgunner Jo
The Blackhawks
Deadman
The Freedom Fighters

Deadman

Can Scalphunter go on adventures with The Shade?
Also seconding based Wesley.

>Wasteland
Yet another collection DC solicited and cancelled...

How about a Batman villain?

You're a genius! What are some Batman villains though? Doesn't the Joker have a movie coming up? Maybe we could work on that.

Thirding. Im reading his vertigo run now and its some solid shit.

Dan Garrett

Sandman: A Dark, Dreary Dream

Essentially the story of Wesley Dodds from Sandy to retirement to his eventual death, eternally haunted by his “queer dreams” as over the years they become more harmful to his mental and physical health. Like Spider-Man: Life Story, but drifting into more psychedelic moments similar to some of Gaiman’s Sandman’s dream sequences.

>Black Label
What's that again? Sounds like a race thing

Everybody pretends to love Sandman but none of you bought his books.

It's the Nana to Kaoru spin-off manga where they go on vacation with the sex-shop owner and her smut writer boyfriend.

Reading JSA as we speak

Green Arrow by Mike Grell
Sgt. Rock by James Stokoe
Suicide Squad by Ostrander and whoever
Spectre by Moench and Kelley Jones

New Frontier sequel by me with art duties shared by Micheal Cho, J Bone, Dave Stewart and Dave Bullock

I meant Mystery Theater.

Well, #didiot already has dropped Ink and Zoom, but the next ones of those should be about Bart, Tim and Kon

>Spectre by Moench and Kelley Jones
Tell me more.

I do buy them but the Sandman Mystery Theater's omnibus only have half of the series

Should she get one or should Isis?

I would love to bring Wesley back but I say something more akin to Sleep of Reason since the pulp noir detective was perfected in Mystery Theater

Mary Jane and Sniffles.

Vigilante and by extension Checkmate would be pretty cool.

this. Reading Last Knight On Earth is just more of snyderman with a few swears thrown in for the rating's sake.

Then let’s do a Grey Ghost series

Speaking of Wesley, I just ordered the first twelve issues of Mystery Theatre off of Amazon. Am in for a good time?

Shame that Moench's Spectre was pretty awful, and then just slapstick

A comic focusing on Scarecrow and going all out with the edgy nightmares.

Pretty good. If those are the original issues, then you're going to see a pretty racist colouring job in one issue, then an apology from Berger for the rest of the arc.
The biggest downside I had with that series is that Wagner and Seagle stuck rigidly to the "each story is four issues" design of the series.

Solomon Grundy would be boss.

Agreed.

Yet they just gave Joe Hill five new horror books

How was Locke and Key?? (wasn't that gonna be a show?)
is Hill writing all the books or putting together a team on them? Hope they have some good horror art.
>MFW someone puts Joe Hill getting his own comics on the same level as JJ Abrams' kid getting spiderman

>MFW someone puts Joe Hill getting his own comics on the same level as JJ Abrams' kid getting spiderman
that happened in the original announcement thread, especially since it was announced a couple days later (without a big countdown).
>THE DOLLHOUSE FAMILY from Mike Carey (LUCIFER, HELLBLAZER, The Girl with All the Gifts) and Peter Gross (LUCIFER, THE BOOKS OF MAGIC, THE UNWRITTEN)
>THE LOW, LOW WOODS by Carmen Maria Machado (Her Body and Other Parties) and Dani (2000 AD, Coffin Bound, Deep Roots)
>DAPHNE BYRNE by Laura Marks (TV writer and producer, playwright of Bethany) and Kelley Jones (SWAMP THING, DEADMAN, THE SANDMAN)
>PLUNGE by Hill and artist TBD
>BASKETFUL OF HEADS Written by: Joe Hill Art by: Leomacs

not a bad line up. Thanks for info.
I didn't know people said that in the thread...the Comics Kayfabers mentioned it off hand. (maybe they didn't know he wrote locke and key)
it was probabaly just a little joke. If Joe Hill wanted to get by on nepotism he would go by King and not hill

(King of the Hill???)

He went by Hill for the very reason why his dad used Richard Bachman

Bachman turner overdrive
Maximum overdrive
!?!?!

Swamp thing
Zatanna
Shining knight
Animal man
Spectre

I dunno about the show but Locke & Key is excellent including the one shots

No one. They should stop turning characters black and just make up new ones.

Somehow I doubt this is what is meant by a "black label".

Swamp Thing vs. Solomon Grundy

but not a retread of the Veitch story

That's hot.

Jason Todd. Give him an actual rogue thats all his. Either that or a Johnny Tower Punisher style romp of distruction through an entire mob. Bring him down to earth, take the gadgets away and leave him with a helmet, some guns, and maybe that crowbar if you wanna get edgy again.

>had the perfect run
which run? Wanted to start reading his stuff

Madame fatal or the brown bomber

OG Hex stuff is great, but that guy is probably talking about the 2000s Palmiotti and Gray Jonah Hex volume.
It ran for 70 issues with terrible sales (Didio was a fan and kept it alive), then The New 52 happened. Palmiotti and Gray pretty much just kept the story going as "All Star Western (vol 3) for another 34 issues

Bronze Age Jonah Hex is getting an omnibus, do you think that might be worth getting?

>Sgt. Rock by James Stokoe
Shaq wakes up.

i would like to see some sexy/comedy stuff instead of just Edgy/violent stuff. As long as its R rated

I had no idea he was a King until reading this. Learn something new every day.

Sandman Mystery was basically Black Label back then. I miss Vertigo already.

Richard Corben on Hawkman

Spectre

Attached: 1140234-spectre_07.jpg (1920x1080, 270K)

Can it be a historical series about the hosts before Corrigan?

Release the Frank Quitely issue of Lobo you cowards. DC has a completed issue he turned in that they decided was too raunchy to publish

Alan Grant -
> Another one for which they have all the artwork is “The Hand Job”. This was a sort of “sexy” story, where Lobo appears naked; the art was by the now-famous artist Frank Quitely (X-Men, now on Superman)...“The Hand Job” featured Lobo being hired to find the kidnappers of a Hugh Heffner-like figure, the publisher of the galaxy’s raunchiest porn mags. For about half the book, Lobo appeared naked. The climax of the story featured 10,000 asteroid miners masturbating

Batwoman
Make it an R-rated Brave and the Bold

So instead of a regular team up, she fucks her way through the dc lgbt community?

Jonah Hex is a good idea. Unless the writers start to throw in edgy attention-getting garbage for it's own sake.
I'd take Warlord even if it was BL. But please let it be good.
Would a miniseries of Alfred and all the worker hell he has to put up with that Batman never is bothered by be a Bl series? I can't not think of a Superdickery crossover with Alfred and Jimmy Olsen.
The Legion of Superheroes has gone on for decades. Is there enough material for a series? What would a BL series be like? Scroungers on the low levels of a skyscraper world banding together, eventually trying to get their one broken LOSH ring working? Poverty, character deaths, illegalism, the last bit of hope he had?
If you expanded and told the story of Starfire's origin in more detail, would it need to be BL? What's life for a bought slavegirl, stuck chained to a Planetary Master's iron throne? No "just steal a shuttlecraft and live life amongst the stars"- being a king's slut is her life. She doesn't like it but she's probably trying to save some lives while she's there.

What would a Baby Dahl BL book be like?

"Black Label" LoSH was basically the start of vol 4. It got rebooted in 1994, but the first five years of it followed a "Five Years Later" plot.
The entire galaxy was in the shits, a few of the United Planets broke off and declared war on each other, the LoSH was dissolved and some members were conscripted into military service, and Dominators were secretly controlling Earth.
Giffen's involvement in the volume ended with literally blowing Earth up and killing billions of people.
It got so dark that Waid was able to convince the brass that it was time to Reboot, then he fucked off about eight months into it

The Spectre.

>naked lobo
>masturbating asteroid miners

Is this what sexy means for Alan Grant?
