Everything since Division Bell has been sort of perverse. High Hopes was the perfect coda to Pink Floyd. There is something poetic with, at the time, their last album with the last song ending with the lyrics:

"The endless river
Forever and ever"

Endless River should have been kept as demo tapes, but I understand why they did it after the death of Rick Wright. This song is just some weird posturing. It won't be remembered for anything but possibly being the last Pink Floyd and that is a shame.
