Terrible name

Three seasons is a respectable run. Not even close to a failure...

Fuck off, Cow and Chicken got four seasons and fucking sucked

It didn't
>cow and chicken sucks
thanks for proving you're a pleb

It relied too much on "hey remember this" then actually telling KO's story. Everything happening with him, T.K.O, and Venomous was shit that should've been addressed in season 2.

Retard

They had to trim the endgame WAY down to the point where developments and reveals that should've lasted at least a TV movie were cut down to single episodes.

Still at least is HAS an ending.

It looks terrible and is about references kids don't get.

The show will go out on a whimper and leave nothing worth remembering.

>at least is HAS an ending
Be happy about this retardkun, a bunch of Cartoon Network shows didn't even have proper endings, even shows like Johnny Bravo, Grim Adventures and C&C got fucked and ended on a regular episode

List the things good about it:

done.

Except that is unobjectively correct. The couldn't stand on its own without relying on a crossover or any throwback to the 90s. While the crossovers were nice, took the place of episodes that could've been for better character or story moments.

Charming.

>half as many waifus or fewer than SU
>the 'child's drawing' art design makes them less pretty and pushes away viewers in general
>emphasis on friendship is less powerful for feelsfags than SU's shtick about maternal love
>nothing to attract musicalfags
>first episodes and title oversell the capeshit angle, capeshitters get disappointed with the main show, people who don't like capeshit don't give it a chance
>'dude references lmao' too old for even the post-highschool audience
>barely anything salacious or edgy to help manchildren pretend they're watching something serious, save for enid and shannon's hips

It didn't have an identity. You knew what Steven Universe, Regular Show, Clarence and Uncle Grandpa were about and what the episodes would focus on.
OK KO didn't have that. It relied too much on referencing other things or having episodes that feel out of place in the show.

It didn’t. It’s on the same level as Ben 10, not a huge success but not obscure either. It got a video game so there you go.
Honestly one of the best late 2010s CN shows. Way more entertaining than COTC or Camp Island.

The real question you should be asking is:
>How did OK KO not get cancelled after the first season?

CN isn't even advertising its finale as the finale of the show. That should tell you everything.

Nice digits

that's because back then they didn't give a shit about MUH LORE and just opted to play episodes indefinitely in a void

>waifus
I was reading a thread an hour ago about, "You know you've made it when people are drawing porn of your characters"

While SU has 100 pages on paheal, KO still has a respectable 45.

honestly? they couldn't pull in viewers and their games sold like shit

Did anyone watch the finale on the app yet?

This, OK KO had a pretty respectable run considering the adult audience is pretty niche. I'm a lifelong cartoon fan and love the show, I think it's a love letter to the kind of media of was into my whole life. I followed Ian J from his RPG World days, but it's rare to see anyone here praise the show, it's really geared more for a younger audience, like there's a huge OK KO fandom presence on Instagram

Also this thread was probably made by whatever autist frequently makes one sentence "OK KO has x problem" threads, there've literally been hundreds of threads like these over the shows run from probably the same person

the transformers live action franchise also sucked but I'm not going to run around calling it unsuccessful.

Timing, the show came out right after a dark (during; the expert consensus isn't out yet) caused by poor shedualing and the movement of entertainment to online, if it had came five years before or after the quality and fan base would be sizable different.

*dark age

So you're admitting that it was nothing more than a reference machine, and that you don't get why people would not like that?
