This whole 80th anniversary gimmick feels surprisingly similar to Marvel Legacy from a couple of years back. A lot of fishing for nostalgia and yet it all feels artificial. The manipulation is transparent. None of it really means anything. It's like that recent Star Wars trailer for episode 9, when they played that montage of the original trilogy. This book got three older school creators together for what amounts to a filler story.
