BoJack Horseman

Ok NOW is good time to really say what you think about BoJack.

I like horsecock e621 porn.

It's fine, but needs to end this season or the next.

Love it, but this

One of the best shows of the 2010's but this user is right.

Sad horse show can only go on for so long before it gets tiresome and while it managed to make it interesting this long my empathy for Bojack is waning.

I'm really annoyed that Bojack admitting that in a moment of extreme weakness he would have slept with jailbait that was practically begging for a dicking is made into such a gigantic fucking deal
Bojack did worse things in his life than think about fucking a teenager

BoJack has been cycling through the exact same loop of
>"I'm gonna be a better person"
>"I'm failing at that because of my lack of will power + some other outside factor"
>"Convincing myself i'm a shit person with no hopes of change"
>"Ok next season i will TOTALLY make a change for good"
For every single season of the show.
The puns keep being good, but the show has gone on too long by now

>Family Guy of the 2010s.
>Not a good show
>Depression is often confused for depth

it's not the underage sex that's fucked up, but the fact he was going to bang the daughter of the woman who just rebuffed him like a minute ago

no I'm pretty sure that's not what the angry little asian jewish woman was mad about

Why now?

The animation is lazy. It's overbearing in much of its points. It's low key furshit.

this

It's a great show that should end either next season or more realistically the one after that.
Even the drama of this season felt somewhat artificial, everyone seemed to be back at square one rather than making any kind of progress.
I worry that the creators will keep it going for as long as they can and the show will inevitably just turn into a wacky soap opera

Liked it but I hope it ends to preserve what it was. Though considering they couldn’t get Tucca and Bertie off the ground and their other projects are surely going to get similarly engulfed by the shadow of their predecessor, I’m betting they’ll beat this suicidal horse until the money dries up and then even after.
It has a few cool animation moments, which is better than 90% of adult cartoons out currently

>It has a few cool animation moments
It does and that's exactly why I said it was lazy and didn't just say it was bad. They know how to make it good; they just don't.

>watch stupid pos episode with friends
> “Why does he keep talking? This is so annoying. Is he supposed to be crazy all of a sudden? No body is actually like this. Can we watch something else?”
ha ha ha

That guy in the cap who is like the Haley's boyfriend from American Dad ruins the show.
I couldn't finish watching all the episodes because of him.

No empathy left for horseman.
Watching for PC, mr PB and Todd.

>I'll introduce a continuity based show to people by picking a late episode to watch

you deserved their reaction.

It's not wrong to hate fun, but it is very uncool.

Bitch we watched the whole thing together, I had just seen it before
I thought they would get it, guess they’re too normie

got tired of it after season 3

I'll watch it but I won't enjoy it as much as before. The strangle thing and more importantly endangering the traffic to get injured took his character to even more irredeemable direction. They didn't even address what he did, it's almost like "no Beth we're smart" moment from Rick and Morty.

I liked the first season but each season I got progressively more tired. I saw one episode this season and read that it gets real fucking serious and he chokes a girl and I was out. It's just...kind of miserable and the humor wore off for me. I think it takes itself too seriously too but maybe I'm bitter? If I wanted to watch someone live through a shitty life I'd just watch myself. It's just depression Ir misery porn.

It peaked at the house rebuilding episode.

Yeah he gave a lot of people rabies and probably killed them but apparently that didnt matter. I'm sure there was more BS I'm forgetting. The asexual angle was weird but at least you dont see that much on TV I guess?

I like it a lot, it's probably my favorite netflix original show. I like the dumb pun jokes and the serious stuff. I wish Todd got a lot less screen time though.

First season was interesting and I enjoyed the novelty. I quit by the end of season 3, the novelty was gone, the story kept looping similar beats, and each character just became more irredeemable in ways the show did not intend.

It should have been about three seasons long.

>The asexual angle was weird but at least you dont see that much on TV I guess?
It was probbaly supposed to send up the obsession with gays by having the guy who rejects sex with a woman not be gay and then him meet boorish people much too interested in being part of a sexual minority.

But they got cowardly and didn't go far enough with it.

I quit after season 3 because more than half of that season was just spinning wheels. I felt like I had been scammed after waiting a year and didn't want to wait another to see if they'd stop being lazy.

My problem with them making such a huge deal about it, is the fact he's done FAR worse. He fucked over the man who got him to succeed in showbiz, he's probably killed more than a few people with his drunk driving over the years, etc. And yet in S5 they try so hard to make a big deal out of something he ALMOST did, and his strangling his coworker. It just didn't fit. Why these small things and not the bigger things he's done? This doesn't even cover Diane's "here's the reason you suck" speech that went in circles and ended up arguing against itself. Or showing Bojack actively cutting back on his addictions only to "LOL JK, HE'S SUPER ADDICTED FOR REALS!"

God S5 was a fucking trashfire. I was so hyped after S4 seemed like a return to S2's levels of greatness after S3's mehness, but they dropped the ball hard.

But nothing of value has been added since season 1 though.

Despite her flaws I think Diane is still top tier waifu and I love her.

Nah. It hasn't gone on nearly long enough.

After all, you've been doing it for decades.

Agreed. After season 4, I said it should start winding down and plan a series finale.

They got salty that people empathized with Bojack so they derailed his character to force the audience to hate him.

>whines about everything
>constantly upset about things that don't and won't effect her in any meaningful way
>hypocrite
>top tier waifu
Just go outside, about half the women you meet will meet this standard.

And Diane's speech was them realizing they had spent 4 seasons profiting off entertaining people with the antics of a "bad person", but still wanted to moralize about bad people to the audience. If they were just a bit self aware, they wouldn't have even tried.

She seems fun and reserved, a bit misdirected and in a bit of a identity crysis. Still love her tho, and no, women in my area are redneck level. So I don't have many option to choose from. I need to leave this shithole.

I’d say out of all the finale fuck ups, strangling his coworker/girlfriend is probably the worst he’s done

It should've ended with season 3, maybe even 2.

The weird thing is the choking thing wasn’t that big a deal. It’s why you have people on set watching for the safety of the actors, and the director didn’t stop it. Yeah, it’s a shitty thing to do and have done to you, but that’s part of acting. Sometimes you go too far to make a scene real. It’s not like it was a “oh holy shit bojack, you’ll never come back from this” moment.

Bojacks big problem is that he never gets validation, but part of that is because he’s so alienated he doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks except for Diane, who isn’t in a position to validate anyone because her schtick is that she’s unsatisfied with literally everything in her life.

No, that would be abusing the trust of an old friend and her family. Herb put himself in that position of being cutoff, because he wanted Bojack to walk to protect him and then had the luxury of spinning it as “you’re a shitty friend”.

Choking his girlfriend was an extreme, but it’s part of the business. It’s not like he did it when they were alone, it was part of his acting and he lost himself in the moment.

I think they were huffing too many "violence against women!" farts.

>too much adhd to follow a show
>until i watched the first episode of bojack
>watched all seasons over 1-2 months
Good shit, though after the zebra episode I now got two folders of zebra fur porn.

Very much kino, but as others have said, its hard to see where it will go next with sad horse episodes, season 4 and 3 had incredible moments like Beatrice’s backstory, and so on. I personally think it’s great.

>too normie
there's a youtube channel literally called "the normies" that does reaction videos to BoJack Horseman episodes and they have no problem understanding the series

>strangling his coworker/girlfriend is probably the worst he’s done
Worse than putting Sarah Lynn back on drugs with a bender that killed her?
Worse than completely alienating the woman he always wanted by attempting to make a move on her knowing full well she's married and happily so, then giving in to her daughter's pressure only to have her walk in right as he had his had on her daughter's tits?
No, this wasn't the worse thing he's done in a E11, or even in general.

Like many other in this thread, it has like 3 season's worth of quality moments but treads water when it comes to the cyclical "I'm sad because I'm bad" arc Bojack is going through. I'm rooting that all the supporting cast gets fucked next season and Bojack has to play the straight man for a good 14 episodes.

Idk man, most of that stuff is toeing a very dark line but not quite assaulting someone while withdrawing on opioids only to have it covered up because everyone hates you but lives off of your talent.

It's one of my favorite shows and I always pick up on something new I missed when rewatching it but is right.

Season 5 was definitely fairly week outside of a few episodes and there's only so much of "characters reverting back to their old, toxic ways" that I can stand to watch before it gets old.

Getting someone killed isn't as bad as assaulting someone? The fuck is wrong with you?

That's the whole point of it. The viscous circles that mental illness traps people in. In real Life people don't necessarily grow as people because they're stuck in these cycles and that's why this show is great to me

user, look into mirror and ask yourself
Is this who I am?

should have stayed with Wanda

I loved it but they should have made season 4 the last season. Season 5 was good but it's just status quo again.

No idea what character development has left.

In that context (I think you're talking about Sarah Lynn) it's more so assisted suicide or even manslaughter. Bojack didn't know the bender would lead to death. In S5 it's feels more insidious. Now, drugs are drug the people in Bojack's life directly through him rather than around him.

I just want more seasons so artists will remember the show exists and make more porn.
