KND had like 60 writers and 4 directors which actually did their fucking job. KND had world design and progression. KND was the only cartoon which didn't do episodic bullshit like PPG, Dexter's Lab and even Samurai Jack which pretended to be an on going story. KND is how you do world design and on going stories properly, not like Billy & Mandy which throw everything but the kitchen sink and forget about it.

It's visually impressive, the art direction is gorgeous. However, that doesn't mean it's necessarily a good cartoon for kids. It's the same problem My Life as a Teenage Robot had. Gorgeous show, not a lot of memorable laughs.

This is a lot more like what I would've expected out of like an MTV cartoon, like Mission Hill but with no humor.

The bigger quetion is how this piece of shit got greenlit, literally a poor-mans version of Ren & Stimpy, but filled with butt jokes and obnoxious voice acting.

The only good thing was the Red Guy, rest of it was awful and the show is only liked because of nostalgia when it truly sucked back then.

Id say it's less that and more that the entire show is clearly not for kids. It's about young adults having young adult problems in a traditional sit com fashion with more down to earth characters. Of course kids are,gonna go for KND with it's,EXPLOSIONS and action.

I remember really wanting this show to win because I was convinced as a 12 year old that they’d do a crossover with Parrapa the Rapper because in my headcanon he was Kitty Bobo’s cousin. Which in hindsight would never have happened considering almost 20 years later we only just got a Sonic crossover with a CN show.

This was great but KND was much more relatable to kids, I'm sure. Plus, KND is one of the most marketable and merchandise-ready ideas to come out of a cartoon. I think even if Kitty Bobo won, CN probably would've greenlit KND too just out of franchise potential. Still a shame that KB didn't get a short run like Robot Jones did.
I fucking loved this one.
Also these were great. Big Pick had a great line-up compared to something like Cartoonstitute or Random Cartoons.
