It's questionable if this format works at all. It's very much an issue of "if I wanted to read this much text, I'd read a book".

Not really surprising. They're a classical five-person team who each fill a specific role, with relatively simple, yet well defined personalities. This was dirt common in the 90s, and remains a reliable format to this day.

With the amount of Edge WB is running with in their movies, as many as they can in a profitable MPAA rating.

Sword of Atlantis was my favourite Aquaman ever. Making it more Heroic Fantasy and less Superhero was a good fit for his powerset.
