Who is your favorite comic book character and what comics would you recommend to people who want to get more familiar with them? I'm mostly a moviefag and want to get more acquainted with the source material.
Pic related as I've really been enjoying Byrne's run on She-Hulk.
That kind of seems counterintuitive to the goal of this board being to talk about comics The guy’s basically asking for a good jumping on point for a really good character on the comics board, why would you send him somewhere else
Ethan Flores
Feel free to read the rules next time before posting :)
Gabriel Murphy
Alright listen here you insufferable faggot with less dignity than a mall cop; you sir are further dragging this board down the shitter. I mean god forbid we actually encourage new anons to read comics and talk about them on a comic/cartoon board. Oh what, did you want 6 more porn threads? Yea Forums? Perhaps twitter or /pol/ bait? So you can fuck right off.
>if you don't like rule breaking garbage you must like this other rule breaking garbage Like clockwork.
>that filename What keyboard, phoneposter?
Wyatt Murphy
Feel free to shut the fuck up, fuck ass
Connor Reyes
It's intentional. It's a deliberate homage to the pregnant Demi Moore cover from Vanity Fair from back in 1991.
Lincoln Martinez
The one up my ass. Stick your head in there and you’ll find it
Joseph Bell
So was your main goal to larp as a faggot and derail this kind anons thread? Because that's what just happened. I don't want to hear a single goddamn complaint about "Yea Forums doesn't read comics" when fuckers like you pretend to be mods to feel important
Daniel Bailey
You aren’t a mod, an admin, or my buddy, pal
Carter Hill
>larp Larp means live action, as opposed to online. Learn what words mean.
Tyler Johnson
Just sayin. If you haven’t read Nemesis, read Nemesis
Kayden Nguyen
Naw I’m just an actual faggot
Jeremiah Miller

>That one Batman series with him fighting Ras Al Gul in the desert Neal Adams/Denny O'Neil Batman was fucking based
Liam Adams
Sensational She-Hulk is a fucking excellent series.
Ayden Garcia
>literally not updated in 6 years
James Jones
I didn't know /wsr/ required updating
Parker Walker
I remember reading that couple of issues as a kid, and loved it to this day.
So, I'm finally reading invincible. It's pretty worth all the hype that it gets. Hell, I'm at #20, and I'm probably gonna get the 1st compendium. Anybody have any recs for Hercules, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, or straight up cosmic and magic comics in general?
Wyatt Sullivan
fuck off
Liam Martinez
I'm on a recent Sandman streak. I'm almost finished reading the run for the first time. I'd recommend it based off of its side cast. The Corinthian, Mervyn, Matthew, Cluracan, Nuala, Death and so forth. I'd recommend reading from issue #1, but read issues #13, #19, and #20 if you want some good one-issue stories

>Bone >Tarzan by Hogarth Fun bit of trivia Jeff Smith said Joe Kubert's Tarzan influenced Bone in terms of storytelling and layouts.
Can't go wrong with Ditko's Strange or Triumph & Torment.
Cameron Evans
Favorite comic/character is probably Hellboy. There's so much good stuff there but I say starting off with the one shots can be a nice easy way to ease into it. Granted it could be nice to have the basic backstory first but it's not a must.
I really enjoyed lemire's run on Moonknight after Ellis's
Aiden Gutierrez
Yeah, I've read ditko's strange, pretty good. Tho I've never read triumph and torment. That's the story were Dr Doom teams up with Stephen to save his mother from hell right? All right I'll check Ellis's and Lumiere's. Any other good stories from before?
