Is there any hope for Fuck Batman season 2?

No. At least I have none. The first season had too much bullshit.

Maybe they will surprise me, but I doubt it.

That Donna troy is all I need to watch

If they dump 90% of the cast and turn it into the adventures of Jason Todd and Hawk & Dove possibly.

The fucked up thing is that I don't see how they COULD turn it around, even with as much time as they've had to consider criticisms from the critics and the fan community. The first season was so bad, for so many reasons, that they'd be forgiven for doing a full Evil Dead 2 (a sequel that recontextualizes the first, while also retconning the majority of the original). I'm just not sure what they could do, outside of that, to turn this around.

And it's especially baffling because Titans has been, and will continue to be, the only bad thing that the streaming service has put out so far. And honestly, I don't see how they justified continuing the worst received show on the service, when it will be the only new show on it for a whole month. Nothing having to do with Titans makes the least amount of sense.

I guess you're right.
Now I think that season 2 will have too many heroes in it. Nightwing, Raven, Beastboy, Starfire, Jason, Hawk, Dove, Donna, Superboy? That's NINE people.
You can't honestly tell a cohesive story involving them all AND at the same time give each of them something interesting to do. I believe it's not going to work.
Even if they hide some of those people in the corner, that's even worse, because then they'll become expendable additions, made only for "please please fans watch us please!" effect, and that's pitiful.

Also it's insulting that they will defeat the big bad boss of whole season one in first episodes of season two.

Not to mention that Dick NEEDS to deal with the shit between him and Bruce, and that necessitates more focus being given to him, as you say, to the detriment to the rest of the cast.

Watched one episode of FuckBatman, was bored
watched Doom Patrol, enamored.
Slog through Fuckbatman for wee bits of doom patrol and jeeeze that episode was not worht it.

they are right, fuck batman. Also fuck this awful show. Its a shame qt Raven and Beast are wasted but starfire and robin sink this ship

How crushed are you going to be if Terry Long is in it, but is called Terri?

>The first season was so bad

If you forget all the Raven stuff it wasn't that bad at all.

You mean like when teenage superheroes blew up a mental institution, filled with innocent patients that had nothing to do with what the doctors were doing? Or how you could definitely edit the first season from ten episodes down to seven and lose none of the plot?

Jason is the only reason to watch this pile.

Why isn't Starfire orange and BB green?

the only story in first season that was remotely interesting was Hawk and Dove story
and yes, that nudity at the end was part of it's charm

What innocent patients?

>>If you forget all the Raven stuff it wasn't that bad at all.
And the Starfire stuff. And the Beast Boy stuff. And the cheap CGI. And the bad writing.

You don't have to see something to know that it's there. The institution was a normal one that was corrupted from the inside. The fact that it was recognized as a normal institution would mean that there would be normal patients inside of it. And doctors that aren't involved in the evil plans. And support staff.

What the Fuck Batman team did in that episode is so thoroughly inexcusable that I'm shocked it got beyond the script stage. Like, I get that the characters are supposed to be flawed in realistic ways, but so are the characters in Doom Patrol, and they were still capable of great feats of heroism, and didn't even come close to killing innocent people.

And the fact that none of the characters are even remotely heroic in the service of them being 'gritty' and 'dark' and '''''''''''realistic'''''''''''

I think the first season had potential, but like Doom Patrol, it lacked clear direction and coherent plot. Thinking back, I can't even remember what the first season was about. I just get flashes from random bits and pieces, and though, I kinda wanna rewatch S1 to make sense of it in my mind, I can't get myself to do it.
So, yeah, they need to cut a lot of bullshit, if they want a future for this show. I'll tune in for the next season, but if they try pull the same shit again, I have no problem dropping out midway.

You need to watch the episode again. Officially it was closed down and vacated. They literally said this in the fucking episode.

Okay, so instead you have Beast Boy committing cannibalism, and fucking Robin murdering a bunch of people in one of the most horrific ways possible. Like, if that happened in the regular comics, in continuity, the fan reaction would not be pleasant. Heroes don't blow people up and they certainly don't eat them.
>But Beast Boy didn't swallow!
Like hell he didn't. It's impossible for him not to with as much human flesh as there was in his mouth. At the very least, he drank a good amount of human blood. I don't understand how any of what happened in that episode is defensible.

Beast Boy felt bad about it and the other people were pure fucking evil. And yes it was pretty clear from the first episode these guys weren't anything like their comic counterparts.

The early Raven parts with Dick were the best thing on the show. Only the other members ruined the chemistry and added nothing to the story. The first season should be about those two only.

>And yes it was pretty clear from the first episode these guys weren't anything like their comic counterparts.
So they should be cold blooded murderers and cannibals. Gotcha.
>Beast Boy felt bad about it
So that makes it okay that he literally ate pieces of a human being.
Or how about the STAR Labs employees that Kon killed? Or that fucking Krypto killed? Like, when does this stop? When can we have heroes that act heroic again? Like, I feel as if I'm rewarding bad behavior just for paying my monthly subscription.

So you don't consider the people who fight overseas heroic? Are they cold blooded murderers ass well? Do you just dislike them because they're not faithful to the comics?

>So you don't consider the people who fight overseas heroic?
If they kill defenseless people without any opportunity to escape, and if they commit torture, then they certainly are not heroes. And yes, I will apply that standard backwards into time, wrong is wrong is wrong, and killing defenseless people is fucking wrong, and not expecting people to do better is actively deleterious to the world at large. Vaporizing people that commit cold blooded murder, failing to make question them and thinking they provide a positive example is shameful.
>Are they cold blooded murderers ass well?
If they commit cold blooded murder, then yes, they are, by definition, cold blooded murder. Expect people to do better, and condemn them when they fail to.
>Do you just dislike them because they're not faithful to the comics?
I dislike them because they’re poorly written, executed and exist in a television series that consistently baffles the viewer as it somehow gets worse. That the cast makes a team of teenage heroes into cold blooded murderers and cannibals is beside the point when compared to the show as a whole.

>Thinking back, I can't even remember what the first season was about.
Because there was no stories. More than half of the episodes were not about the Titans and it is only going to worse because they keep adding more and more characters even though they one we have already aren't getting enough screen time and development

I wanna fuck Raven

The primary reason for me to watch season 1 would be Raven and Starfire being strange and cute but they made that impossible by their choice for Starfire.
Have Bumblebee, Yinx or Terra appeared yet? That could make me watch it.

>Take worst character in DC history and turn it into an excuse to see hot girl-on-girl
>Crushed
What're you a fucking alien?

Two words, user.
Budgetary. Constraints.
