Best example is the cost cutting methods in 90’s Spider-Man. I’d take trace-overs than cut and paste in an action show anyway.

Really if one looks at the culture of the 80’s it was a time of loving the peak human form. There are clear reasons why the 80’s was filled with video exercise routines and the idolization of hunky action heroes. The 60-70’s philosophy of “do what you want” and the consumer friendly culture of the 80’s. Unlike today’s “your freedom stops where my feelings begin,” and “healthy at every size.”
