>A bunch of promos in between the SU marathon showing cosplaying adults that talk about how important it is they feel represented in a kids cartoon

Was I supposed to be moved by these? It came across as embarrassing.

Do you think fucked in costume?

Also the guy looks like someone out of idocracy, just saying the carls jrs star isnt doing him any favors

I think it's beautiful that a collection of pictures in sets of 24 played second by second can have such a profound impact on people, so they certainly moved me.

kids enjoy cartoons, but only an adult can truly appreciate them

I imagine Cartoon Network was really hoping they could get shots of even one family or group of kids at the movie premiere, but it was literally all adults. That's not surprising considering it was limited first come first serve, only advertised on twitter, and the adult fans were waiting outside for many hours.

At least the Lapis cosplayer was cute

>When the suits at CN start sweating because their biggest show's fanbase is full of people who don't appeal to all the commercials on the network

Would this all make CN reconsider their original appeal? Or are they gonna keep trying to be like Nick/Disney?

It better, CN is killing themselves by trying to be the daycare network, none of there shows besides SU are good now that ok ko is done.

I can't imagine being such a big fan of SU you would stand in a theater line for hours to see this movie. This show isn't exactly "Stand in the hot sun for hours" worthy.

dont watch su is there a video on said promos i wanna see what these people look like

Its just some people dressing up and having fun like a Ren fair or Halloween. If cosplay triggers you that’s pretty sad.

I imagine most people went to get autographs/selfies with the cast/crew who were confirmed in advance to all be attending.

Except at a Ren fair or Halloween, those people know it's pretend.

The people who cosplay for Steven Universe are stuck in a fantasy.

I home the suits at Cartoon network see something is wrong with this. Steven universe according to Rebecca Sugar herself has said that this was a show made for young boys but the fanbase is comprised of mostly adults and it is successful if this thread continues cartoons won't be focused for childern anymore and when that happens everyone will lose.

this speaks volumes about the show's true demographic

imagine being a kid today and cartoons that are suppose to be made for you are appropriated by 20 somethings and 30 somethings who want it to be about lgbt issues

>but only an adult can truly appreciate them
Too bad the adults making them can't appreciate it and just want to make a show so they can hang out with their friends.

>cartoons won't be focused for childern anymore and when that happens everyone will lose.
Wouldn't it be better if they stop focusing on kids so they can have more adult content? Like not even lewd shit but more like early 2000s action cartoons that had plot.

The stuff of nightmares...

I'm not Grecian and I thought 300 was the fucking coolest. If you can't relate to the trials of a character either they were written poorly or you lack empathy.

>complains about a style existing
>"fixes" it by copying style of other cartoons

What? Link?

>not cosplaying
>hiding your powerlevel even at cons
what's it like being a normie

No, Rose Quartz

Pretty sure they're asking for link(s) to the said promos

Did I really just rope two dopes? Jesus Christ.

It would've been a little more tolerable if they didn't seemingly go out of their way to find the sloppiest cosplays around. I mean, good for them if they were having fun, but damn.

Why do these people always happen to be fat? I hate it when I'm trying to browse the internet, and a couple of fatties pop up. Such an eyesore.
