The animation was fine but I felt the research was very half-assed in this one
Like all the PR research they had only goes all the way up to when they did Voltron vs Megazord
>Use the 10,000 ton monster punch as the Megazord's best strength feat
>When it held up the Cayan Tower with the Dragonzord which should weigh around 200,000 tons
>Scale to Rita busting an island
>Not scaling to the Megazord fucking up Alpha-1 who survived a moon blowing up
The G1 blog did better research than this episode for both combatants (though I disagree with scaling Kiryu to film equivalents of the Kaiju it fought)
From a research standpoint, easily the weakest this season
