about what's happened so far in Ducktales? Well.... Della came back... and Donald was waiting for the bus to go on a cruise for a month which Scrooge/the kids had given to him as a gift as Della's ship landed, after she escaped from the moon.

Well... of course Donald went to investigate and got there after Della had already made her way to the mansion. Donald accidentally activates the ship which sends him up to the moon and we last see in the last episode released his panic as he hurtles up towards space :D

I'd say on its own it's a very fun comedy/adventure series that does many good things with what it's able to do and has a very diverse set of characters to build with. Also god-tier references. Just wish they'd go on more actual adventures

I’m curious how the reboot will handle Morgana. Even if Disney greenlights a DWD reboot with the lead character in a gay relationship (has even Cartoon Network or Nick managed to do that yet?), I can’t help but think that breaking up Drake and Morgana would cause new acrimony amongst the old school DWD fans, regardless if Tad Stones gave his blessing.

While I can see Frank making such a risky choice, I feel like it would be more controversial since this would radically change the relationship dynamics between Morgana and Darkwing to the point of being unrecognizable.

If I have a complaint about this episode is that Webby's place should have been taken by Huey and Louie. Jones speaking of Donald's love for his kids would have been all the more rewarding if the actual triplets had been there to hear it.

Donald is of course a very strong and highly competent fighter, but in all fairness, as we saw, Lunaris is also good at taking a beating and surviving at least two explosions, and he's a tall trained soldier, probably the best warrior of the entire moon (which is not a planet, though). Him being able to best Donald is kinda acceptable under such conditions.
Then again, the fisticuffs might still have went on, but as wrote, Donald first wanted to warn his family about the threat.
