Draw, figure out what the hell it is you can't draw, study it, then try again. instead of doing mindless drills, treat it as a warmup for the stuff you want to do, loosening up your muscles and prepping to do the good lines. I got plans for a Catman cameo along with his sidekick Kitten. I'm debating with myself whether or not to make them cat people. Every comic universe has cat people just like every comic universe has a bow guy, but I'm worried about being called a furry.

The working idea for their lore is that Catman was adopted by Burmese tiger-people that raised him and transformed him into one of their own--his OG origin already gave him mild magical powers like night vision because he was raised by a tiger. Kitten is a teenaged circus brat that Catman transformed into a tiger girl to save her life after gangsters tried to kill her and her parents--sort of making her a combination of Tigra and Robin. Catman adopts her, and there's tension between them because while he's fine being a Tiger-man Kitten isn't and struggles with a mess of senses and instincts she does not want. I have this idea about a post-great disaster setting where Famil (dog people) are competing against Feli (cat people) in a recolonization race using WWI technology. It would mostly focus around a Famil and Feli girls who are childhood friends writing each other letters about their adventures in the recolonization mission in their respective militaries.

Famil are based off the British and live in an kingdom ran by noble houses. Feli are based off the French and live in a republic ran by wealthy industrialists. And then there are Lupu (wolf people) who are based off the Germans, live in a totalitarian-militaristic empire, and are a rising power trying to play catch-up and join in the recolonization race with the Famil and Feli.

Making a functional humanoid robot design isn't easy, so it might be a good idea to construct a base template that covers everything, then remove what you don't need for specific models, or add more refined parts. So a maid bot might be built from the same design as a sex bot or a bodyguard robot, but the non-essential parts are non-functional, superficial, or inferior to the specialized bits.

Also makes it so you can upgrade the model with specific desired parts, and customize your maid bot to be able to bench press a car.

Thanks. I don't want to focus on them being animals with heats and stuff. One of the reason the characters are animal people is that it makes characters/nations easy to identify characters and such. I can also exaggerate their expression/mannerisms and reflection of each nation they're cultures are based off too.
