I mean, sure, he's goofy and over the top, but he actually conquered the world, and that's just the show's premise. He was a very competent villain and at times quite threatening too (the Zombie episode).

He wasn't redeemed though. Po offered him the ability to put down arms and stop to complete his own journey more than to help Shen down his own. Po needed to let go of his past and look towards his and China's future and forgiving Shen is a part of that. And the SNOW LEOPARD Tai Lung was giving ample opportunity to stop but even with his brains bashed against the cobbles he couldn't see anything but what he thought he was owed and still was attacking Poe. Putting him back in prison is just avoiding the real issue rather than taking responsibility for one's own mistakes.

He just severely underestimated the sheer amount of resources his plan required, which is absolutely horrifying because he was pretty stacked.

The very end bit with her was top tie but that whole bit with her in the wastes was painfully awful.

Why in the FUCK would you watch the dub, og french voices are goat. Oropo, Evangeline and Nox in particular just fall apart if not dubbed by frogs

Just going to throw in Qilby here, since he's always overshadowed by Nox but is an incredible villain in his own right. Nox is great because you can empathize with his plight (a man losing his family and doing anything to get them back); but Qilby you can't empathize with because you don't understand what it's like to die, be reborn, and keep all of your memories for eons until everything seems small and insignificant to you--which was his entire point, that nobody knew what he was going through. It's such an alien premise and it involves the viewer in it too.

All three of the big villains were great. It just sucks that Oropo is the black sheep because S3 was lackluster and his plan/intentions were not as great as Nox's or Qilby's

I like Oropo over Qilby (I still live Qilby though) but he obviously suffered from the season length getting halved. His defeat in particular is heartbreaking
The manga is fleshing him out a lot more anyways

You can partially empathize with his plight though.
At the core of it, he's insanity basically comes from isolation and being vilified.
That's something some people can empathize with (at least mentally ill people might be able to, even if they can't really grasp the total effect of it)

Nah, Auto was cool. He may have been in the weaker half of the movie, but he certainly is the best part of the Axiom. It's just a shame that the only way they dealt with him was just flipping a switch.

I get you, but Wakfu is just one of those shows where the badguy doesn't get a good end, even if the audience would like to see them end up happy somehow.
Nox should have somehow been able to bring his family back, Qilby should have somehow been freed of his curse

If it was a show more like Avatar or something, you can be sure they would have had a last minute asspull to make it so the good guys win, but the badguy doesn't have to suffer when they aren't really "evil"

Healing Qilby would destroy his character. He is the final ending of extreme insanity. Even if rid of the curse he is already beyond broke. The keypoint about him is that he cannot be dealt with.normally. Even Nox just went down and Oropo could be manipulated. But not Qilby, never Qilby. He cant be talked out, you cant negociate, you cant even permanently kill him. He cant be changed or fixed, hes a destiled lunatic down to the core, rotten beyond reason
