Should Spider-Man suit be high-tech or just regular cloth?

Which do you prefer?

Mostly fabric with some tech worked in for his web shooters, eye lenses, Spider belt and signal and built in mask filters

I think the suit you posted does a great job blending the two. It incorporates a somewhat realistic level of technology while not really coming close to Slott or Iron Man levels of tech. It'd always be like that in an ideal world.

Honestly, the MCU suit is the suit Pete should have always had in the first place. Guy's a genuis but it never shows beyond his webshooters

I think the gamesuit hit a nice point but it and also the MCU suits need to stop with all the random extra lines on their designs.

I never cared for it but the white definitely is glaring to say the least.

Cloth. I'd be fine with occasional purpose-specific tech suits but I know that shit just leads to autists thinking he should always wear tech suits because it would be the smart thing to do in story.

Eh, it could've been black to mesh with his webbing design but I guess they want the logo to really contrast his palette.

And cloth is as stupid as tights. It made more sense for a supposed genius to have a suit with enhancements and built in tools. Thank god colored spandex is falling out of favor, the stupidity of it has lasted long enough

Depends on which suits really. 2099 suit looks pretty amazing as a tech suit in ps4 spider-man and shattered dimensions for example

Because they're lame and indirectly take away from his powers. Not every character should wear a power armor just because it makes them stronger, that just kills variety.

The only thing Dan Slott did for this game was give cliffnotes on Mister Negative, that's it. Chris Gage spent 3 years with Insomniac co-writing the plot

Depends on what stage of Peter's career we're in. If he's still on his own and struggling, then yeah, cloth. No on-board AI bullshit. If he's working with the Avengers or a big science lab or whatever, then yeah he can have some tech in there.

But ideally imho it should be spider-trackers, different kinds of webbing, maybe some HUD stuff in his lenses but that's kinda all i'm down for really.
