Was there a Cartoon Network show that ever had a huge decline in quality like Dexter's Lab did? Even Savino's PPG episodes weren't this bad
Was there a Cartoon Network show that ever had a huge decline in quality like Dexter's Lab did...
i never really thought dexter was that good in the first place
PPG if you count nuppg as part of it. Johnny test used to air on CN, and the first few episodes were actually watchable, but by the end of season 1 shit was already awful, and season 2 became the nightmare we all know.
Adventure time went from innocent dnd fun to tumbler shit garbage in a single season
I liked the Savino episodes.
This. Went from arguably top cartoon of the decade to literally the worst finale.
Johnny Bravo Season 4
EEnE kind of floundered towards the end. Granted it wasn't horrible, but they were obviously phoning it in.
Rebounded amazingly for Big Picture Show though.
Why did they reuse the music from this episode?
This
Once they went back to school it was just... odd
in a way the show was kinda married to the setting of summertime in the cul-de-sac
there was no difference in quality from season 5 to season 3 and 4
Danny wanted to end the show after Season 4, but the network wanted to keep going. Danny wanted to do something very different for the next season to keep him and everyone interested, so they changed the season to fall and sent them to school.
Savino gets a lot of blame because of Yea Forums's obsession and inferiority complex against Loud House, but it was really the fault of CN for bringing it back with a gutted crew and shoestring budget in the first place.
>Danny wanted to end the show after Season 4
If he got his wish, the finale would have been the episode all of the kids were old people all along and the entire show was them thinking of their childhood.
Besides, we would have never got the Big Picture Show, which is an amazing finale
What happened in this episode again
You got me there
I think the last non-film episode was them all just eating hotdogs after defending double d
Dexter corrected his vision because his glasses kept getting in the way, and the world unfiltered was too horrifying for him.
Johnny Bravo season 4 was worse, and that had the original creator
grow up
>Johnny Bravo season 4 was worse, and that had the original creator
They didn’t bring back Butch Hartman, Steve Marmel, and Seth MacFarlane. That hurt it.
I didn't find season 1 that great either, it was campy and boring, didn't get a single laugh out of me even as a kid.
>Even Savino's PPG episodes weren't this bad
PPG was way worse during it's later season
>Sunburn episode
>Chili episode
>The bedwetter episode
>The one where the girls can't use their powers due to some strict parents
>The episode where PETA protects Mojo Jojo, and they use the same fucking joke the whole episode
>The one where the Mayor is a crybaby and wants his toast
>Professor's brother comes to visit, but everyone thinks he's a candy loving monster
>Fuzzy Lumpkins falling in love with the Professor and Fuzzy ends up having sex with a pile of shit
>The episode where everyone cries for the entire episode
>Episode where girls lie and some white goblin grows bigger and fucks up their house
And that's just some of them, they really fucked up big time when Craig and his crew left.
It was actually the one where Double D tries to form a school safety club with the others, but they keep screwing around and make things worse.
Butch and Seth had their own shows to do
>worst finale
That's not Star vs.
Season 2 and 3 of JB was shit, they made him a bumbling retard and added unnecessary characters like Carl
Samurai Jack.
The finale didn’t even focus on Finn, he ended up a background character in his own story.
Cringe
>this shit taste
the last movie was worse
What movie?
Yes.
Dexter was never good desu, Justice Friends was the only thing that mattered
it wasn't such a drastic drop
but was pretty clear the writers were worn down
is this a ren and stimpy parody?
>>Fuzzy Lumpkins falling in love with the Professor and Fuzzy ends up having sex with a pile of shit
Excuse me?
Fucking zoomers
That show was always bad
the ass was fat
>Look it up
>Released 2011
>Released elsewhere but America
Why would you make a movie based on an American show, and not air it over there? That's retarded.
I think it wasn't funded by CN. It was made for international market not domestic so it wouldn't have done well
Didn't that happen with PPGZ too?
It's not uncommon, same thing happened with Mexican Spider-man and The Big O season 2
Because it was a movie about Bollywood for a country that loves the shit out of JB.
>>The bedwetter episode
>>The one where the girls can't use their powers due to some strict parents
These two were okay.
>>The bedwetter episode
>>The one where the girls can't use their powers due to some strict parents
>>The episode where PETA protects Mojo Jojo, and they use the same fucking joke the whole episode
These episodes were mediocre, (6/10), passable, not bad, bland, flat, insipid, nothing special
they should have done a full episode with the Teen PPG idea rather than just a single segment of City of Clipsville(which was a pretty mediocre episode), and also should have stuck more towards the original concept
>They acknowledge the show has jumped the shark
>They continue making it
Savino is a hack
"the horse show that shall we not mention" is even worse.
What the fuck even happened to fop? It just stopped and they dont even air reruns on nick
>Savino is a hack
Oh really?
Am I about to have a bad time?
this show was literally never good
t. zoomer
slang term for age group
?
Hartman is worse
Shut up, you only liked it for superficial reasons. Season 4 and 5 were the peak and 7 had some of the best episodes in the entire show.
Writers were scrapped for ideas in terms of the culdesac. The gags and jokes were all still top notch.
What happened?
I'm not follow this up
Yeah that was apart of the scrapped season 6 which would have been winter episodes
season 1 had some shit characters too
Jungle Boy was so bad they never even brought him back
Season 4 of SU where Steven is an effeminate midget that patronizes everyone.
>In a single season
Which episode did it for you? Because season 1 was pretty much entirely episodic and barely explored anyone's character outside of their archetype
Jungle Boy was only added because Cartoon Network demanded that the first 3 Cartoon Cartoons need a middle segment for their cartoons. Same reason we got Justice Friends, Dial M for Monkey and I am Weasel
Fail
>The episode where PETA protects Mojo Jojo, and they use the same fucking joke the whole episode
I thought Yea Forums liked that episode because it made fun of SJWs.
