I really hate this show, Most of the 2D art is fucking abominable

First episode could be one of several, it's semi-random. For me it was Sonnie's Edge.

Most of the shorts are pretty good and have nice animation. Even if they don't you just have to sit trough it until the next one starts

yes. and is that a bad thing? no. I fucking HATE that snimation is seen as either stupid shit for kids, or a cheap way to get "edgy" comedy on tv. The vast potential of animation, especially CG animation, is pissed away on crap stories that don't do anything with the medium.

not OP, but Heavy Metal was utter thrash!
the writing was beyond juvenile.

I download love death robots because they are keeping 2d alive, and the 3D looked like it could be breath taking.

The man from Beyond The Aquila Rift was hot. If they were going to add a completely unnecessary corny-ass sex scene in the middle of the ep they should have showed his cock too. But they didn't.

In fact the only penises I remember seeing out of the whole series was that sleeping man haunted by a spirit demon's and the rich robophile creep's in Good Hunting. And those ones were just plain ugly.

the witness is the best ep

The Witness was the worst one. it was basically just torture porn with an oh shit they're in a time loop! twist that adds virtually nothing of value.

That sums up my feelings toward it all. Some are interesting others are just god damn boring. Many unoriginal but do the job, others grate. I kinda hope someone picks up certain stories and expands on them or takes a few and mash them together in some sort of connective setting way.

I've watched them. Didn't really like any of the. If you want a good animated movie collaboration about robots, death and love watch Robot Carnival that's all this shit is trying to be and it fails.

Most of the shorts are hit or miss. A lot of it depends on your personal taste - when it came out there was actually a lot of division on ranking of the episodes because so much of it comes down to what kind of small stories people found interesting.

Pretty much everyone unanimously agrees the two Alastair Reynolds adaptations (Zima Blue and Beyond the Aquila Rift) were the strongest of the bunch, but after that it's very much person to person.
