They’re not Static characters but they’re from the same comic line there’s Rocket and her son. There’s Icon and Hardware.

There's also that fire villain who they called Holocaust.
He's from Milestone too, one of Static's enemies.

It's really weird how Richie and Ebon and other characters original to that show have never been adapted for another cartoon or put into comics

No not really.
DC's just kind of bad utilizing improvements made through other media, like for example why Jinx is really popular character in the Teen Titans cartoon but they've never attempted at trying to use that to make her comic counterpart more popular.
Like they definitely can use those characters but they likely won't for some reason.
There's also this whole thing with DC and Milestone, but even without it the most DC has done with Static is change is costume.
And on the cartoon front well its not Static shows up in a lot of stuff anyway, like I'm 90% sure YJ is his only other animated appearance out of the DCAU

Whereas some say Marvel takes too much, DC takes too little.
Static is already a great example since the cartoon upgraded him from black Spider-Man wannabe in a hat and raincoat to one of their best known and constantly requested characters and the most he's gotten is a failed NU52 comic and his presence in YJ.

I've only read some of static, I tried reading Icon a while back but I kept running into cross overs with other comics so to just read one story I'd have to have like 4 tabs open to get the scope. Does static deal with the same bull in his book? Cause I'm gonna need something to read after I'm caught up with hulk

I had one I liked as a kid, it was about this white kid who turns into a fly. I don't remember much else about it though

Unless your talking the Swarm I'm pretty sure that's not a issues from his comic but there is a character who turns into a giant rat.

Only thing I remember is him eating a scalp off of the sidewalk. I was never much into horror or stuff like that so I never got into the book more until the cartoon.

I want to see Static's supporting cast.
