I really stopped watching back in season 1 but isn’t White Diamond basically Space Hitler? Hasn’t she killed\enslaved untold billions? Legit question that I personally don’t know the answer to. But if it’s true, then the whole “irredeemable” ship sailed a long time ago.

Theory: New villain is a pink zirconia, aka a fake diamond, aka a artificially created Pink Diamond meant to replace the original Pink Diamond after she had died. But due to the diamonds obsession with perfection, she was never loved or seen as a legitimate replacement for Pink. Eventually started to be hated for this. And she also didn't act like Pink did, and due to the process of creating a artificial gem, while it was faster then normal, it came with a side effect: She could not feel empathy. She started to see the two diamond's grief in losing Pink as alien to what a gem should be, like her, distracted. She eventually attempted to go snitch to White expecting her to take her side, only for White to ignore her because she was a artificial abomination in the first place. She then tried to take over homeworld, and the diamonds responded by somehow firing her into outer space with seemingly no way to return to homeworld at all. By the time she had grown her own resources up to enter space, she had convinced herself that artificial gems are the superior race, unhindered and unburdened by emotions such as empathy. Her goal is to use a injector of her own to turn the Earth into a giant source to make a army of artificial gems from to take over homeworld.

What teasing? Deluded shippers are the only ones who could possibly see any alleged teasing for the ship in general because Lapis and Peridot hardly exchanged a word since the barn was uprooted. In fact, there's way more blatant evidence and teasing pointing towards Peridot never fusing. Despite this and the whole Zuke debacle, fags like you are probably going to be the ones crying about queer baiting when the show ends with them still being nothing more than friends.

Lapis's fusion with Jasper is one of the pillars of her character arc. But perhaps more importantly, fusion in general has become perhaps the most important part of the show at large. Which is understandable, considering that it's a metaphor for the relationships the characters have with each other. And outside of Steven himself, I don't think there's a single character in the show whose relationship with Lapis is closer, or has been through more than Peridot. Honestly, there were times when I thought Peridot's feelings of attachment towards Lapis seemed to come out of nowhere, if not at least seem exaggerated.
Plus, I think that Peridot simply not being ready to fuse with someone, as we see with Garnet, is a small pillar of its own in her character arc.

I mean Peridot seemed attached to Lapis out of nowhere because one of the boarders was a crazy Lapidot shipper who got fired and threw a fit because Sugar didn't support her ship

Lapis getting benched in the barn and as a result not developing relationships with anyone aside from Steven and Peridot is less teasing towards a fusion between her and Peridot and more lazy writing, they kind of just shoved both of them into a group with Bismuth but I doubt many people are going to bend over backwards to see their interactions as teasing towards them being in a polyamorous relationship. If you want to theorize that your shipping fusion is going to happen no one's stopping you but don't act like the show is letting you down when it doesn't, similarly don't get disappointed if Peridot turns out to stay a fusion virgin because she's some sort of asexual allegory like Sugar and co have already implied on multiple occasions

Lapidotfags make up one of the most cancerous parts of the fanbase and Zuke, who was a stain on the show and Lapis and Peridot's characters, is their founder. I just like seeing them get their delusions crushed like klancefags

Great songs, above average animation for the series and intentional repetition to enforce the theme of the film.

I've already heard from The Rolling Stone that this thing is gonna be a pseudo clip show of Steven reenacting critical memories with the gems to get them back to normal after Zircon, or whatever the villain's name is, erases their memories. All in all, I expect the worst, which is to say little to no Jasper.

If anything Yea Forums clearly needs a refresher on these characters so it should be the perfect movie. But really it's more of a celebration of the show than a banal recap. CNScoop said it's merely a gateway to learn more about Spinel.

looking at the .ca webpage for CN, the shedule is some kind of very repeated at-least-twice-daily loop through of a 2-4 series of each show on the schedule.
it's not endless-TTG bad, but it's not proper-series-order good, either.
