And you know what the real issue is? It's quite simple, and yet either mods are blatantly ignoring this or are really bad at things.

It's simply that /r9k/ shitposters are now leaking way more than anything before.
Let's look at last year, and for example, stupid buzzwords like "cope", "seethe", "trannies" or "dilate" were almost non-existent in daily Yea Forums threads. When did they start appearing? When, conveniently, /r9k/ users went and talked about how people who crossdressed were getting their pics and vital stuff taken by some people in Discord servers, and instead of doing anything to fight-back, like Yea Forums always tends to do, they instead allowed it to grow, and went only to call people that are "against" their shitposting "trannies", even though there was clear indication the real fucked up people were crossdressers, weird though as sites like Yea Forums, /pol/ (please don't try to deny it, people KNOW) and Yea Forums LOVE crossdressers. But let's go with even more realizations. Furries getting back into their bullshit? Users of these boards are siding with them "ironically". E-celeb drama? Users of these boards are defending these "ironically". Anything that is giving them power to continue their autistic shit-flinging is being defended by a lot of retards, and I'm afraid even some janitors/mods are allowing this on purpose.

So really, the deal is that Hiromootwo and the rest have to put some serious stop to this asinine act, because I feel idiots forgot the main rule in Yea Forums: "it's shitposting/bannable even if it's ironic".

TL;DR: we need moderators 24/7 who actually care about Yea Forums and for people to stop ban evading.

Now, this is just some personal opinions, and there is also this thing that gets bothersome.
Were things better previous to 2016? Yes, we were at a stage where GG and the US elections hadn't made a lot of people here take a side "for fun", and the biggest problem people had was with the horse board existing still. Can things change to pre-2012 era? No, even if some people don't want it, things have changed for good, and way more for the bad, but this isn't a lost battle. What people can do is try to understand that we aren't perfect, but we came here to both talk about new stuff, laugh at the retardness of ANYONE and get to show or discuss, but at the end of the day, it's to have fun. If we want to keep that, then we need to remember the old rules of the game, and follow them (to a point, it's ok to deviate a little) or else no one wins, not even shitposters.
Also, imho, we must take a stand against people who seriously believes in insane practices like shilling, creating drama and forcing shitposters, because some people have been proven to be actually insane and doing more damage to themselves and others than support.

/pol/ is so effective at invading other boards because they don't even have to invade other boards. People with them living rent-free in their heads do it for them. any minor, off-color post or opinion that would have elicited a chuckle on old Yea Forums now results in people screaming "POL, POOOOOOLLLLL" when they could have just ignored it and it would have gone unanswered like the lame bait it is. Most of it isn't even /pol/fag opinions, it's just slightly nonconformist opinions that almost everyone has.

If people would stop being angered by nonconformity, this shit would stop. Or at the very least be very muted. Right now anything remotely left or right leaning, anything that isn't a boilerplate copy+paste opinion from another thread, results in pic related for 500+ posts.
